great stay!!

The suite itself was bigger than expected and very homey!! The host was super communicative as well as accommodating! The location was also perfect for me to go on dog walks! The only unexpected thing was being sent a pretty long list of rules & were only made aware we had to send pictures of all the guests ID the morning of.

The owner's communication with me was excellent, quick response. My mom did not want to leave to go to our event.The neighborhood was nice and clean. I will be back.

it was a shared home , host tried to say it wasn’t a connected house , when it was a door thru the laundry room to the other room where someone else was staying when book for an entire home , false advertisement wasn’t pleased with property online it shows 3 bed rooms as listed it was only 2 with a den thru the master bed room no privacy in the den when waking down stairs can see where people are sleeping wasn’t pleased with property !

My stay in Charlotte

The home was beautiful. At first I was concerned about understanding of hosting such a special event for the first time through Vrbo, having a super host… but everything turned out wonderful. The host was super understanding and helpful in every area. The neighborhood was beautiful the neighbors was helpful in they way. The beds was comfortable and I’ll definitely recommend this app and the home to someone else. I hope to be able to continue using her home come the future for future events. Thank you so much from my entire family.

Pros: we enjoyed listening to music on the touch screen on the fridge. Home convenient to where we wanted to be. Home was clean.Cons: Hot water didn’t work during our stay. Contacted the host. Said a plumber was coming. Plumber never came. Had to take cold showers the entire 3 day stay. Text the host asking for FAIR compensation to agree upon twice (the day we left and about a day and a half later) no response. Reached out to VRBO for a resolution. Host lied to VRBO and stated she offered us a partial refund to find another place and we declined. This was never offered. Won’t be booking this home or this site again. Currently disputing another way. Recommendations for the host: use a professional painter, communication needs to be clearer. I didn’t know the unit was attached. If so I would not have booked. Luckily the man in the suite was very pleasant. Post descriptions of clean up and access in one site so your guest are aware. This rating is coming from someone who has 5 rental units herself. Next time you have an issue please be honest and offer a resolution to your guest.

Poor listing and horrible host

Overall, the pictures listed do not match the property. Upon check in we were bombarded with a list of rules that were not given prior to booking(Which was not an issue to comply with). We also were required to submit all forms of ID for all listed gifts, which we were not given notice an hour or so before check-in. Communication with the host was to none due to their inability to respond. We had a personal number to the host that they continue to decline and would not answer calls or text to. The property itself needed extreme lawn work done to it. There was a pest infestation on the back patio, which did not allow for the gas to properly enjoy all of the property. Had an extreme odor that we had to air out by opening a few windows on the main floor. There were a few stains and hair stains on the couch. Then two days after the conclusion of our stay, I received a claim request about property damage, which did not reflect how the property was left. I followed up via message to the host and still have yet to receive a response. Overall, I would not recommend this list to anyone.

Our home is truly one of a kind—it was the first model home in the neighborhood and still embodies that charm with its high ceilings and two separate, independent living spaces. One suite is on the first floor in what was initially a two-car garage, while the other is on the second floor.
