Beautiful Waterfront Retreat in Cambridge!

Spend your day crabbing and fishing off our new dock or simply sip your coffee or cocktails as you watch the sunrises and sunsets and take in the abundant wild life sights of Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, Osprey, deer and geese. Crab traps and fishing rods are ready for your enjoyment, just bring your bait.
Explore Hudson Creek and beyond with our two person kayak and two paddle boards, life jackets are included. Enjoy your freshly caught crabs in our Crab House which is also filled with indoor and outdoor games, such as a giant Connect 4, mini table top pool table, water guns, corn hole, yard dice and more. Or simply grill out on our Flattop grill. Wrap up your day around the fire pit taking in views of the water. Kitchen is well equipped and house has plenty of board games and puzzles for rainy days.

If you are looking for a great homecooked meal head to the Neck District Grille just two minutes from the house. Downtown Cambridge is less than 15 minutes away and offers numerous restaurants, including the Hyatt which offers day passes during the summer for their pools, spa and beach. We are 15 minutes from Horn Point and the Harriet Tubman Museum. Layton's Chance Vineyard and Winery is 35 minutes and Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is 40 minutes away if you are looking to do some hiking. We are 30 minutes from Easton and 45 minutes from Oxford and St. Michaels.

The house was completely spotless - the location was perfect! And the host included a s'mores kit, and baited crab traps and had them waiting with crabs in them when we arrived! This was an excellent weekend - we would recommend Hudson House to anyone!

This property is amazing! My friends and I stayed here for a girls weekend and the best time. The house was well stocked and super clean. The garage had everything you could want to keep you entertained. They even put the crab pots out for us. The owner was quick to respond and very accommodating. Would happily come back!

Stayed 4 nights in August and had a great stay. Home was very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The best part was the crabbing off the dock! Many thanks for use of the crab pots - we had at least a dozen keepers each day from the pots, plus another half dozen caught with handlines. If there was one slight issue, it was that the only bathroom is on the first floor while all bedrooms were on the second. But this is a design of the house, so nothing that could be done. Overall though, we had an awesome stay and would come back again. Thank you Rebecca!

Beautiful Place to be

We had some Beautiful and calm days in a nice House with all you Need for nice days. We loved the Crab House with all These fun things like Billards. We Catched crabs and cooked them, very Tasty!

Peaceful Waterfront Cottage

A nice stay in the small waterfront cottage on the Hudson Creek near Cambridge MD. It would be perfect if the cottage has a more direct view of the water and a quieter AC in the bedroom.

Very Nice Property, Very Well Managed

We spent a week at this house. It was clean and professionally managed. We were impressed by all the little touches -- firewood and fire-starters in the garage, "S'mores Kit" in the kitchen, crab traps baited and set, propane steamer set up and ready, etc. They really fool-proofed the crabbing setup. The house is thoughtfully (and festively) decorated, the amenities are all there (though we did need to buy trash bags and TP), and the host is responsive to communication. Paddle-boards and a tandem kayak are provided for fair-weather fun. Pool, table-tennis, Connect-Four, and other games are set up in the "Crab House" for rainy-day recreation. We were sad to leave. Very well done!

Long Weekend

Cute little cottage slightly set back from the water in a friendly neighborhood. 2 small bedrooms suitable for children and 1 large room with 2 queens. Immaculate, clean and neat rental. Towels and sheets provided, so easy for a long weekend. Had a fun time exploring the Eastern Shore. Nice location.

Thanksgiving 2024

The perfect Thanksgiving. House was just right for family of three although more people would have been fine too. Lived the crab shack and played lots of pool and ping pong. Kitchen well stocked. Owners were prompt in responding to any questions. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Home Away From Home

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. The kitchen is large and well-appointed, the beds are comfortable, and the peace and quiet is priceless. We enjoyed morning coffee in the sunroom, table tennis in the crab house, sunsets from the dock, and stargazing at the firepit. If you desire peace and quiet this house is a perfect choice!

Great get away.

Very nice and quaint house. Small but lots of room. Clean and nicely decorated. Lots of fun hanging out in the Crab Shack and great bon fires at night. Loved catching crabs off the dock. Very nice and helpful hosts.
