good stay needs scissors in kitchen good follow up from mgmt if need something check in is just front driveway valet/security person w your Hand bands only got 2 tho we were 4 in unit (shortage?) security tagged car with sticky don't park here sticker on driver window tho valet/security parked it there night park in garage hard so valet for free when we were there unit as described need about 20 more loungers by pool area seems to get max at 930am ish

Lovely views!

We are already missing our home away from home, the beautiful mountain and ocean view! The condo was perfect for our family of four. We love staying at this resort and will continue to vacation there. Duke's is also a fabulous spot to eat, since it's steps away! Customer service was excellent and the spa is a treat. Can't wait to return...Mahalo!!!

Great Experience!

We (2 adults and two early 20s) had a great time at Honua Kai. The condo was impeccably clean, kitchen well-stocked and beds were comfortable. Beautiful balcony/lanai, especially when the folding doors were all open. Beach was very nice with excellent snorkeling just off shore (and the beach chairs in the unit were appreciated). Pools/hot tubs were great and never super busy. Took advantage of the grills to prepare a couple of meals. We would absolutely return.

Great first experience

Love this Condo!!

My family of 5 loved this condo! It was our first time on this side of the island and we loved it. The beach and pool were great and this condo is a great location. Within walking distance to the food trucks and some great restaurants. The condo was just what we needed. Amazing balcony and we loved how big the bathroom was. Both rooms were great and my son slept on the pull out couch which was great as well! Kitchen was well stocked and we will hands down come back to this condo! What a great stay!

So impressed

We absolutely loved our stay at Honua Kai Konea 706. The condo was well maintained and just perfect for our family of 4. Communication was spot on and we appreciated the text messages and the personal call welcoming us to Maui. The condo is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. The bell desk staff were fast, attentive and very professional. We will be return guests to Honua Kai and we will be renting once again from KBM. Our friends that booked their trip through Costco will now be booking direct through you as well they were so impressed.

Great condo

The condo and property were great. The parking stinks! Every night we got in late and there were no spots available. The valet staff helped to make it work each night though. Finding a person actually in staff there is difficult, but we didn’t really need anyone, so it worked out.

Great location and amenities.

The location is tops and so are the amenities. We had everything we needed or wanted for beach fun and cooking in the unit. The beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas were an amazing perk. We had a few issues that needed attention in the unit during our stay and the management company was quick to address it. The only thing I wish had been available is help figuring out transportation between the resort and the airport. A shuttle would be amazing, but even just help booking anything would be great. If you are coming - don't save figuring that out until the end.

Perfect!! My family of 5 loved it!

We loved our stay. The villa was perfect! Large,clean, great views from our balcony and well stocked with everything necessary to relax, including boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and ice chest. We used them all! Great location within walking distance of beaches where my family snorkeled with sea turtles! Beautiful resort! Within walking distance of grocery store and restaurants. Can’t wait to return to exact same villa #706. Also booking was easy and staff were amazing!! Perfect!!

Great Experience

Property was just as listed. Very nice condo, property was fantastic. We had a great family vacation for our family of 5, and will definitely return next summer.

The property was more than expected , the pools were great, location was great, food in the area was phenomenal. Having a full sized kitchen in the condo was great. We had breakfast and snacks at the condo which helped us save some money. The view was spectacular!

What a cluster

This was one of our trips that was a shorter duration so we really wanted to just relax. With the rain we knew we would most likely be in our room more than we hoped. Upon arrival on Monday we found out the refrigerator wasn't working. It happens, we understand. The condo itself was much smaller than I expected but the main issue, which I was not made aware of, was the construction going on outside. I would have never rented this condo if I knew about the construction. We enjoy leaving the doors open and sitting on the lanai and realized that would be difficult with the constant noise. After a couple hours of waiting to find out if they could fix the refrigerator, they moved us to another condo for 3 days on the 4th floor. It was much larger, nice view and we didn't have construction noise. Definitely happy overall but we were told it wasn't permanent. We decided to live out of our suitcases so we wouldn't have to re-pack in case we had to move. Late Wednesday received a call that they were moving us again but this time to the 2nd floor...absolutely no view and the same construction every day from approximately 7:00am to 5:00pm. We were never able to sit on the lanai or leave the doors open for the remainder of our trip. Even with the doors closed there was the constant rumble of machinery. Though we received an extra bathroom and living space in the 2 moves, the time spent packing/unpacking food and our belongings to another room with no view and constant noise was very frustrating. Unfortunately, I wont be renting from KBM Hawaii for our future vacations.

We had a wonderful experience and great customer service

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and great customer service. Joshua was very helpful and took care of all our needs as well as the rental car. You would rather be at the beach anyway. The unit was spacious and clean and had everything you needed on a daily basis; full loaded kitchen, washer and dryer, napkins, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, and more. We will definitely stay in this unit at the Honua Kai again. Thank you!!

Very pleasant stay

Well equipped with all the items we need. But pots and pans were too old. Perfect location. Friendly staff. Linens in the other bedroom with 2 twin beds were not very clean.
