Boutique cabin that is feet from Leech Lake. Enjoy the Million dollar view.

This modern inspired cabin overlooks the large Southern section of Leech Lake. Perfect for a romantic getaway or use it as a starting point for fantastic summer and winter fishing. Literally feet from the water and walking distance from the public beach and boat landing. The lake offers swimming, waterskiing, kayaking, jet skiing, and paddle boarding. Excellent ATV trails and snowmobile trails within 1/2 mile. Smaller lakes near for canoeing or pan fishing. Shopping and restaurants in Walker and Longville. Hiking, biking, pickle ball and tennis courts and a Community Center with fitness room and exercise classes in Walker. Craft brewery and winery outings, vintage and antique shopping are great rainy day options. The winter landscape is beautiful and offers cross country skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling activities. Sitting on either the upper or lower deck offers gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Where listening to the Loons call or watching the Northern Lights makes your stay relaxing and special. WiFi is available if you choose to stay connected. Boat lift is available upon request for an additional fee.

The cabin was perfect! One of the nicest cabins I've ever stayed in while fishing. The view was by far the best view I've ever had while staying in a cabin. The lake was a little intimidating when it was windy but we fished the narrows and over by agency Bay there are boat launches everywhere so you can go to the calm side of the lake if need be. Caught some giant northern pike out on Leach and some big northerns and surrounding lakes.Had multiple opportunities to catch giant muskies! Some 50-in plus for some reason they just wouldn't eat the whole lure just nip at it and swim off. But just having those opportunities were memories I will never forget. The area was so beautiful and the people that own the cabin were very nice and answered every question I had and communicated with me over the phone. I would recommend anyone who wants a nice peaceful beautiful memorable trip with their spouse or just a fishing buddy to stay here it was awesome I will remember it forever! Thank you guys so much!

Whipholt 2025 Refresh

The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. We loved the style and decor of the place. The boat lift made it convenient to get on and off the lake frequently. The power was out when we arrived, Paulette was great at communicating with us as to the status of the power being repaired. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for a weeklong vacation. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you!

Summer vacay!

Only thing different from description pictures was no TV in bedroom. We had a very relaxing week on the lake. We showed up during a tough bite but still managed to coax a couple fish. Even got some tips from our host. Overall excellent vacation spot and we plan on coming back.

Beautiful cabin on Leech Lake! Everything was beautifully updated, clean and well maintained. It was wonderful to watch the sunset from the porch or through the wall of windows from the cabin. So many cute places to relax and enjoy the lake life!

Home away from home

We had the nice time to get away from our busy schedule. Had fun ice fishing, outdoor sites, and site seeing the town. We enjoy the quaint home for just us to recharge, reconnect, and we surrounded by nature.

Beautiful!

Very clean, perfectly sized for our romantic weekend before deer hunting starts 😀 The decor is gorgeous, the lake view stunning! Neighbors were quite close but with the pictures you can see that - I didn’t mind for that view. We are already talking about a summer weekend!

Leech Lake Cabin

Over all I really liked this cabin. However, there were several small issues. There was mildew under the rim of the up toilet, and the bottom of the shower curtain. the lake view windows were dirty, so I cleaned them. It was a shame not to clearly see such a beautiful view. The propane tank for the grill was also missing. I thought this was a beautiful cabin. We had a nice time.

Mike and I are from Southern Minnesota and have been enjoying coming to Leech Lake since each of our families choose an Up North adventure as our family vacation destination. We want to offer the experience to others and hope to start your Up North vacation soon.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The Loon’s Nest cabin sits on the Southern end of Leech Lake and offers an amazing view of the lake. The cabin is modern and furnished with a full kitchen, a Blackstone grill and free WiFi. We offer a solar lift that fits a 20’ Warrior or Ranger styled boat for a $35/day fee. The public landing is a quarter mile away. Parking for your truck and trailer is offered if needed.
