I’m sorry you felt otherwise about some aspects — it’s always sad when a guest leaves less than fully satisfied. That said, 3 stars feels a little unfair given those positives. The furniture is not “all IKEA” — but honestly, what’s wrong with IKEA? Swedish furniture has survived toddlers, beach sand, and countless vacationers just fine. In fact, several guests have said our IKEA beds feel “like sleeping on a cloud.” If IKEA can pull that off, I’d say it’s doing something right. Comfort is subjective (some like a firmer couch, some don’t), but most of our guests have no complaints. On storage, the queen room has under-bed drawers and both bedrooms have closet space. That setup works well for most vacation stays, but I’ll look into adding a dresser for those who prefer it. And just to note — all furniture and layout are shown in the listing photos, so there shouldn’t be surprises. As for location — this is the Outer Banks. You have to drive everywhere here! Kitty Hawk isn’t designed for city-style walking, and that’s part of the charm. Restaurants, shops, and attractions are just a short drive away, and many guests enjoy the quieter setting this provides. We always take feedback seriously, but I want future guests to know: the condo is clean, comfortable, accurately represented in the photos, and managed with care.
