Your front yard is your own large private sandy beach with a redwood dock with two private boat slips—perfect for boating, sunbathing, lounging, canoeing/paddle boarding/kayaking, and floating.

Dine and grill on the main cabin redwood deck with beautiful lake views or directly on the beach at several charming spots—from a shaded wooden dining table beneath the willow tree, to the pergola underneath a towering ponderosa pine, or even floating on the water on the redwood dock.

Our stay at this lakehouse was wonderful, and the location was truly the highlight of our vacation. Waking up to beautiful lake views every morning and being so close to everything we wanted to do made the trip incredibly relaxing and convenient.The peaceful setting made it easy to unwind, and we loved spending time by the water. Whether we were enjoying coffee in the cabin or playing on the water our family of 15 had an awesome family experience. We are already planning to come back next yearIf you're looking for a place where the scenery and setting make your vacation extra special, this lakehouse is an excellent choice. We had a fantastic time and would happily stay here again.Host were very helpful and on point with responding.

One of the best locations around the lake

Best location, as few other reviewers said, the indoor area is tight, but we are not traveling to Bass Lake to stay inside, the outside area is amazing, we all had an amazing time and hopefully will be back next year.

AMAZING experience!

This was my first time using VRBO and it was an excellent experience. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. The property was beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. The listing was exactly the way it described the property online. I have no complaints. It was a great stay.

What we love most is the sense of calm and nostalgia here, where mornings on the water and sunsets over the lake create the perfect setting to slow down and reconnect.

It is within walking distance to The Pines Village and directly in front of “The Island.” Set on two acres, this authentic old-school Bass Lake cabin offers privacy, space, and immersive nature rarely found on the lake.
Guests enjoy an extra-large private beach area, a private dock with two boat slips, kayaks and a paddleboard for exploring the water, plus a lakeside pergola, beach fire pit, and sun-tanning beds for relaxing days outdoors. The property also features a hot tub and cold plunge for year-round restoration.
