The location and condo are both nice. The condo could use a freshen up with paint and a few minor details to make it a little more comfortable but otherwise it’s great. The cooler and beach accessories were a nice bonus but the beach chairs are broken. We would stay here again!

Our stay at Kahana Villas was decent. The unit (E210) is like the pictures. It is older and could use some updating. We had ants the first couple days but used a spray that was there and no issues after that. The kitchen is stocked fairly well. Bed is comfortable. Check in and out was smooth and easy. Pool area is nice with bbq's. We enjoyed our stay in Maui. Seeing the devastation of Lahaina was hard and sad, yet know that the residents of Lahaina are strong and resilient.

Simple, clean, easy walk to the beach.

Pros: Good value, nice pool, good amount of cooking items, plates, etc. Short walk to a few shops, food, etc. Short drive to kanapalli/ lahina. We would stay again. Cons: noisey wall ac that is far from yhe bedroom, although we were never too hot. You can hear the traffic on the main road above.

Awesome family trip

We stayed here for 9 days and had one of our best family trips. My two daughters 10 and 12 shared the pullout couch bed which went better than expected. We brought our own inflatable bed just in case but didn’t end up using it. I was able to bbq serval nights which helped save money. The apartment is in a great location with great snorkeling at the beach. We saw turtles every time we went out and the beach is a five minute walk. Pool is great to wash off before you go back to the apartment. I would recommend going to Costco, Walmart, & Target to grab groceries and other stuff. Safeway and other grocery stores are very expensive.

Worth price and location

Seamless staying experience from booking to check-out. Would recommend anyone looking for drama free vacation. Only advice is to take care of small insects, bit too much to handle for younger one.

Would recommend this place it was perfect for us and we liked the location …easy to take off exploring. It was spacious, clean, close to the beach, and had all the comforts of home. Wonderful stay!

This place was so wonderful. Checking in was a breeze, and the location was great. We had a small problem with the fridge when we first checked in, but the property manager was very responsive, and the problem was fixed quickly. Would definitely stay again.

A well kept property with a quick walk to beach

Certainly not new but very well maintained property. Directly across from the clean and beautiful pool/spa area. Could always find a parking spot close by. I did slipup and misplace the room key. When I called the property manager she was most concerned about making our stay as good as it can be.. A shout out to past renters, as this condo isn't all beat up with bunches of poor quicky repairs everywhere. Thanks for the great Maui experience!

If you are okay with slamming doors, loud talking in other languages, jackhammers, and powertools all morning starting at a little after 7am then this would be the perfect place for you. Have to enjoy ants, unpleasant temperatures, and no one to voice your issues with. Basically be okay with an unwelcome feeling at all times from the locals. Then this would be the perfect place for you

Great location!

Great location with a slight ocean view off the back patio. Easy walking distance to a wonderful beach with turtles, waves, and whale watching (in winter). Asked for a few supplies and received them quickly!

Just Okay

My husband, 10 year old son and I stayed here for 2.5 weeks. The unit was good value for the money. The location was close to the beach and close to the pool. We contacted the property management company twice about things and we were promptly taken care of. However, we were disappointed about a few things: ~The hide-a-bed needs to be replaced as it is worn out and thus very uncomfortable ~The bathroom has no working fan ~The dryer is ventilating into a small area inside the bathroom rather than outside so it heats up the bathroom ~The bathroom door sticks and doesn’t shut properly ~The blinds in the bedroom have no wand to open or close them (they remained closed for the duration of our stay which doesn’t allow natural light or air movement in the room) ~Only one key was left for the unit instead of two (with one left in the lockbox for emergencies) ~Overall, the unit could use some updating.

The Condo was not clean blinds/curtains were damaged, sink was dirty, bathroom was dirty, the bedding had sand in it and linens had dust bunny’s and smelled like dust. Dishes were dirty we had to wash them before use, the floors and the furniture was very soiled and dirty had to wash everything before we could sleep had to mop floors light fixtures were very dirty and dusty. Walls were dirty and damaged. The Fan in the bedroom was very noisy made it hard to sleep. No AC in the room so it was Very Hot at night.

Kahana Vil stay review

Access to property instructions were accurate. I cleaned the property from top to bottom after checking in. Bathroom and floors were not so clean. The bed had ants several days. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom which caused allergy flare ups. The bedroom also had blinds missing right by the door. So anyone could walk up and see me sleeping on the 1st floor. I could not figure out how to work the dish washer-- needed instructions. The in-unit air conditioner in the living room did not cool the space. I could not figure out how to work the remote controls to the living room TV. I could not replace the key in the lock box. Overall, place was quiet. Amenities were nice. I loved the pool, hot tub and grill. Property needs upgrade for the price I paid. Towels were dingy. Bed was very hard.

Perfect for what we needed

Nice clean room. Close to the beach, and food within walking distance. It was a bummer the hot tub wasn't working our entire stay (7 nights) and another couple who were at the same condo building said it wasn't working during any of their 10 night stay. Not the owners fault but would have been nice to know that.
