Classy ski brule vacation home

Gorgeous home on the shoreline of beautiful lake just minutes from ski brule made for a fantastic family vacation. Everyone was so impressed with the house and property that we wouldn’t think twice about staying again.

Wonderful home!

We booked this home for a family/friends weekend and it was absolutely amazing! They had everything we could ever imagine to need, the location is beautiful and we had more than enough space for everyone! We would recommend this home to anyone and everyone!

Awesome!

Our 3 generation family loved this house. Minutes from Ski Brule made this a perfect location for our annual Family Ski Trip. We had lots of room to spread out and lots of room to gather together too. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great Place to Kick Your Feet Up

This property was very welcoming after a day of skiing at Brule! The space was perfect for the various ages with plenty of options for relaxing and sleeping. The area is beautiful and unfortunately, because our stay was so short, we were unable to take advantage of all the amenities the home and property had to offer. Owner was quick to respond and check-in was easy.Would definitely rent this property again when the opportunity arises!

Employee getaway

We had an excellent weekend at John's home. The layout is AMAZING plenty of room for everyone. John was able to be reached if we needed him. plenty of cookware. We had pancakes for breakfast and lasagna for dinner. This house was perfect! very quiet nestled in the woods, a few deer roamed around in the yard, beautiful. Can't wait to visit here again.

Perfect UP getaway

We came up here for a quiet, relaxing fall weekend. It was everything I wanted! There were so many movies, books, games and puzzles around the cabin to keep us entertained. The fireplace in the living room was amazing. Everything was organized and really clean. The lake in the back is a total chill vibe.

Great place for a large group!

Perfect our group of 10 people! The house was spotless and we loved all the games and puzzles provided by the owners. The upstairs family room was a great place for the kids to hang out together. Loved how all upstairs bedrooms had a king bed along with bunk beds, it was the perfect set up for our family. Working with John was a pleasure! Would love to return!

Golf/fishing/hiking retreat

This is a great property to stay at in a very rural area of upper peninsula of Michigan. A large beautiful house on a very nice lake with abundant hiking trails, fishing and golfing opportunities nearby. We enjoyed the four bedrooms each with a king size bed. This house would be perfect for multiple couples on a weekend getaway. Nice fire pit and gas grill in the fairly private backyard was a nice way to end the evening. My bed was incredibly nice as I typically get a backache at motels and did not.

Comfortable, Well-Equipped, Sparkling-Clean Home Surrounded by Breathtaking Nature

This place is pure magic. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at peace—the lake, the towering pines, the cozy cabin vibes—it’s everything you want in a getaway. Mornings with coffee on the deck, afternoons kayaking on the glassy water, and nights by the fire under a sky full of stars. The house is beautifully kept, with everything you need to feel at home. And the host? Incredibly thoughtful. If you’re looking for a place to unplug, recharge, and soak in nature, this is it. Already looking forward to my next stay.

Ski get-away

We had 3 families using the house for a quick ski trip. This home could not have been better. Everything was well maintained and exactly as described if not better. It had everything you could need for a stay away from home. The home was truly built for a group to stay with ease. John was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Having rented places around the country in the past 10 years, I can easily say this was easily the best place! We already were looking to book again next year.

Winter fun on Hagerman Lake

WOW! This spectacular home was the absolute best for our winter getaway weekend! The large open spaces accomodated our group perfectly. Bedrooms were spcacious, beds VERY comfortable! Great 2nd level area for kids to play, read, or watch a movie. The kitchen was well appointed and a fun area to prepare our meals together. It was obvious that this home is well cared for as it was impeccably clean! Owner John was gracious, easy to connect with, and wanted to be sure all our needs were met! We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you John and JIll for sharing your beautiful home! We will be back!!
