One bedroom apartment, living room, kitchen and bathroom, in a quaint, small, walkable waterfront community. Walk to NYC Ferry, NJ Transit and Academy Bus. Walk to Sandy Hook or local free beaches. Plenty of waterfront parks and green space. Enjoy our many hiking and biking trails; Hartshorne Woods, Popamora Park and Henry Hudson Trail. Visit the National Landmark Historic Twin Lights and the Sandy Hook Lighthouse. Bicycle and boat rentals are available. Enjoy our great restaurants, shops and tiki bars. See highlandsnj.com.

There are many local events and lots of beautiful scenery to enjoy. There is a weekly farmers market , every Saturday beginning at 8 am. The market runs through November. There are many great restaurants and unique establishments. You can rent bicycles, kayaks and boats.

The apartment was relatively inexpensive for the location. It was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and located in the middle of a quaint little seaside town. No problem getting into the apartment. We will come back again.

I super appreciated the communication with the host. Very kind and on point. The room was damp and the sheets felt wet. I was up the whole night probably due to the humidity in the room when we arrived. Also one of the walls had some stains on it and the kitchen appliances could've used some cleaning.
