Nice place right on the river with access to beach and walking paths a half mile across the bridge. Easy check in/out and host was very nice to allow early arrival.

Great stay at highlands/sandy hook

We enjoyed the house just minutes from sandy hook. Was a great way to beat the crowds and have a place to come back during the day and take a break from the sun. Looking forward to staying again!

Water and city views are amazing! Place is well-laid out with good outdoor spaces and we had room for our family of 5 to enjoy the still-nice weather. Since it was off-season, sandy hook beach (right across the bridge) was free and beautiful. Worth the drive up and around the Hook also; cool history and gorgeous. Owner was helpful and super communicative with everything. We also appreciated an early check-in!

Relaxing Getaway

We booked a last minute getaway. The property is clean, convenient, and pet friendly. Great water views, especially from the 2nd floor deck. Check-in/check-out so easy with very responsive hosts. We’ll be back!

Comfy and cozy.

Perfect retreat. Home is well appointed and very well maintained. The location and view were spectacular. Two very nice restaurants are in walking distance. This is our second booking with Gary the host and I cannot wait to book with them again. Special TY to Peter and Fay for being so attentive during my stay.

The property was exactly as described and pictured. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of equipment if you wanted to cook.The location is great for exploring Sandy Hook, Twinlights and the shore area. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.The check-in/check-out process was very easy. And the host were easy to contact. I had a few questions prior to and during our stay and they responded promptly.Would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Stay

This spacious cottage was walking distance from a wonderfully established seafood restaurant. We had everything and more for our weekend getaway with the water steps away from our feet!

Family Party at the shore

The unit was perfect. Location is ideal, easy to get to And great location. Parking was easy, which at the shore can be problematic. The property manager was easy to contact and very flexible. Great place and we will likely stay there again.

Highlands happiness

This home is so lovely and well coming. Matches the picture and description and great communication with the host who was both responsive accommodating. We loved the water views from the patios and great restaurants and coffee shop in walking distance. Home was clean, with comfortable beds and furniture. Great place to hang out with easy access to beaches. We plan to return again soon. This place is a gem.

Great location and overall great accommodations that served my family well. Over all, quality and cleanliness was great. Only exception was dog hairs on bedding and pillows in front BR. Can't Wait to Come Back!

We loved our stay here! The house was neat and clean with fantastic views of the Shrewsbury River, Sandy Hook, Highlands, and the NYC skyline. We enjoyed watching the boats go by from the bulkhead and our (four!) balconies over cups of coffee in the morning and glasses of wine in the evening. We loved being able to walk to some of our favorite restaurants and across the Highlands Bridge to the beach. The hosts were great and very responsive. We can't wait to come back!
