With just a 12 minute walk to Bayview Beach to explore low tide’s finds, a 5 minute walk to Ferry State park for an afternoon hike, a short drive down to Camp Ellis for a walk out on the jetty to catch sunset, or back into the center of town for an ice cream at the famous Saco Scoop or a burger at Rapid Rays- there are endless places to explore with the option of moving at your own pace, whether you’re visiting with friends or family. While staying at the Beach Loft, you’ll be able to enjoy the privacy of a gorgeous remodeled wooden getaway with 2Bedroom 1 Bath and full functional kitchenette; all while planted on the main drag to various beaches and trails exploring much of what coastal Maine has to offer without being in traffic to get there!

Loved this place. Me and my friends rented it for 2 nights for a little vacation and rught off the bat the owner was so welcoming and kind. Both of them made sure to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be going back.

Would stay again at this property!

The space was clean and well appointed and perfect for our family of 4. The unique set up gave everyone ample space to chill out and not be on top of each other. The decor is up to date and the unit feels brand new. Would absolutely stay here again!

My family of six stayed here for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—just a two-minute drive to the beach and close to everything you might need, yet away from the heavy tourist traffic.The home itself was very comfortable and charming, with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially enjoyed using the grill and fire pit in the evenings. The property was well-equipped with everything needed for a stress-free stay, including towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish soap, cookware, dishes, beach chairs, a cooler, and even an umbrella.Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway.

Wonderful place

Everything was nicely done. Everything was neat and clean. The sheets were fresh, the towels were large and soft. The location was close to the beaches and little beach communities. Would stay again.

Pleasant, rustic Maine stay

Cool place, with warm rustic feel — perfect for the Mine setting. Hosts were great! We even accidentally locked ourselves out at midnight, and they got is right back on!

Great location - very peaceful

Very much enjoyed my stay. Closer than expected to the ocean and Old Orchard. Lovely area for walking and cycling. The loft was very cozy, comfortable and private. Joanna decorated with care and there are nice little touches such as a good book, plenty of children’s toys/games and a nice private outdoor fire pit, grilling area .

Maine in October

We enjoyed an October weekend getaway. Beautiful beaches nearby, and easy drive to shopping communities like Portland and Kennebunkport. It was great to relax at the end of the day in this comfortable space.

Our host was an excellent communicator. The rental home had everything we needed and more... there were many thoughtful and personal touches. We were close beautiful beaches that were perfect for shell hunting. Couldn't have had a better experience with this host and rental. Thank you!

Amazing

We loved everything about this host and her carriage house. We had excellent communication, the property was pristinely clean and cute, and the host went out of her way to think of every little detail to make us comfortable. The location was the perfect Maine beach town with fantastic proximity to the beach and state park. We cannot wait to come back and highly recommend you book this property right away!

We had a great stay at Joanna’s. She is very thoughtful and quick to respond. Her little blue house is not only cozy but also practical and well located. We don’t share a wall with her so the kids could be as loud they wanted. Thank you Joanna.

The nest

Joanna is a great owner. The communication is excellent. The appartment is in a good spot, close enough to the beach so we can get there by foot. BBQ and fire pit on an intimate place in the garden. Thanks Joanna!

The inside was clean with inviting natural light, and plenty of towels and bedding. The bathroom was cool with stone tiles and a heated stone tile floor which was a pleasant surprise. This location is not a 2 bedroom in my opinion, as it had a large bed on the main upstairs floor within the kitchen/living area which I consider an efficiency or studio apartment set up. There was a large downstairs bedroom/living room area that had a large bed, a twin trundle and a single traditional couch (not pull out). There was ample space in this downstairs area and it had a door that shut to close it as a typical bedroom. The inside was decorated nicely and ample kitchen items to utilize, except there is not a stove to cook on, but there is a hot plate and microwave.The outside was not mowed, bushes overgrown, which were in your way where you had to park and walk thru to access the space, and a warped picnic table. So the outdoor space was not a usable, inviting outdoor space. Unfortunately the lawn person arrived to clean up the entire outdoor space as we were checking out. The parking is tight, but we made it work with having more than one vehicle, to which they were allowable. The folks in the adjoining part of the home were pleasant and cordial when we crossed paths. I would stay there again, however, knowing the set up that one "bedroom" is in the kitchen, I would be prepared for that type of space.

False advertisement in a sense

My two boys and a handicapped man I take care of stayed at the apartment I booked for 5 but two couldn't make it. I got there not thinking I'll have Joanne staying next door the whole time. Pictures showed her porch and the dinky little entry way we had. So because it was advertised as her porch I'm thinking the steps handicapped man I take care of would have an easier time getting up due to it has a railing. She blocked off that entrance which is not shown in pictures. No stove just a burner grill. Whoever her cleaner is missed spots on the dishes so dishes were not clean food and drinks were in the fridge. So there's only two rooms. The kitchen is attached to the bathroom and the bedroom it's all one room not handicapped accessible Im thinking it's all downstairs the bedroom and bathroom. The second bathroom isn't even in the apartment you rent so must be those pictures are from her place. . downstairs room is a pull out trundle and one couch. She added a bed. No oven except a toaster oven not stove only a burner. No privacy Everytime we arrived back she arrived the same time or she was already there seems like we were being watched kind of creepy.so we stayed out every day so we can have actual family time. We didn't use the grill because there were a lot of mosquitos and it was a tiny space your allowed to use in the backyard. Pictures are deceiving next year will be a cottage atleast you have more privacy and a better yard and be able to come back and relax.

Your statement is under review from VRBO, as you should never have rented here to begin with. Changing your plans and having a handicap accessible person in your care, was a violation to begin with. After speaking with their Customer care team I realize I should have called the police, as they noted. You're not welcomed back here. Not everyobe will be satisfied with anything ...
