The house was in a great location - walking distance to Seattle Center and a grocery store, so we didn’t end up needing a car. If you do have one, the provided parking decal would be very convenient.The layout is unique and works fine as long as stairs aren’t an issue. It’s spread across several levels:1.Living room and kitchen2.Loft and bathroom3.Bedroom, bathroom, and laundry4.Master bedroom with bathroom5.Rooftop patioJust note that if you forget something in the master, you’ll be climbing four flights of stairs before heading out. The rooftop patio was definitely a highlight, with amazing views we really enjoyed.The main drawback was cleanliness. When we arrived, the house had a very strong smell of cleaning products that lasted for days and was unpleasant despite airing it out. At first, I thought it was just over-cleaning, but then I noticed our socks turning black from the floors, which also felt sticky. A quick wipe with a damp paper towel came up black on the grey concrete floors, suggesting the floors hadn’t been properly mopped in a long time. It gave the impression that surfaces weren’t actually very clean, despite the strong smell.There were also some maintenance issues - for example, an uncovered electrical outlet in the master bedroom that felt like a safety hazard. I considered reaching out to the host, but after a slow response to another question, I didn’t pursue it further.

Seattle Downtown Escape

We enjoyed this stay, the house, and the location. The views were great! The proximity to major sites were great! Check-in was easy and parking was never difficult. Next time we visit Seattle we will stay here again!

Excellent location/view

Four of us came to watch our college basketball team play at Climate Pledge Arena. This Vrbo location was only 1 mile from the arena and QFC grocery store was only 2 blocks away. We found a pretty nice outdoor pickleball/tennis court at Kinnear Park, about 9/10 mile away. The view from the top door bedroom was gorgeous as was the view from the outdoor roof patio with the fire pit when it wasn’t raining. The unit was very clean and the appliances were all new. The only downside is the unit is narrow and there are 5 flights of stairs from the main floor to the roof patio. I definitely got my steps in. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot

We stayed here for three nights to attend a concert at Climate Pledge and do some shopping. The unit was perfect for four friends. We especially enjoyed the rooftop deck with its view of the Space Needle. There are lots of stairs in the unit which didn’t bother us at all, but it’s good to point out. Overall it was a great stay. Within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants as well as Climate Pledge arena. We used Uber for everything else which was easy.

Great location to enjoy Seattle

A heads up that "ample street parking" is only available for two hours and then the car will need to be moved. There is also no overnight parking. We were told by the hosts that it would probably be fine. So we had no other option but to take our chances. But listing parking as available is misleading and caused us a lot of stress about whether we would get ticketed. Also, the AC only works in one bedroom and the bottom floor.

Our location and rooftop views certainly make us stand out! We have an upscale/modern property with plenty of room to host families, business travelers, groups of friends, etc. We are in the heart of Seattle. Walking distance to many tourist destinations, stadiums/event centers, and tons of restaurants. Lower Queen Anne is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Seattle. It has history, is safe, and is the perfect blend of city/metro.
