** The safety of our guests is very important to us. We are using medical grade disinfectants to thoroughly clean the cabin between each and every guest. Our hot tub water is professionally dumped and refilled with balanced chlorine levels for every guest before arrival.

*** We have finally finished our parking spaces. There are two parking spots on a concrete pad next to the front door. There is not to be any parking on the old driveway as we had to reduce the width with the new retaining wall and you will damage your vehicle if you park there. As we have always stated, there is only parking for two vehicles on the property. Do not bring more than that.

Located at 3,500 feet, but just minutes from Soco Road, on a paved street and tucked into the mountainside is Bear Cub Cabin, our "home away from home".

While visiting enjoy our home with A/C throughout, Heat, Wi-Fi, DirecTV, Gas Fireplace, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Hair Dryers, and a Hot Tub!

The mountain view starts with glass doors leading to a 50 foot covered deck with a hot tub and rocking chairs to relax. Our view includes the mountains and farmlands of Maggie Valley. The main floor has three bedrooms and two large full double sink bathrooms, an open concept living area with a Gas Fireplace, Smart TV, Blu Ray/DVD Player. The fully stocked Kitchen has a Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Crock Pot, Tea Kettle, Dish set, Glassware, Cutlery, Pots and Pans....everything you need to prepare any meal.

Downstairs is a sweet surprise with a huge daylight family/rec room with a Pool Table, Air Hockey, Flat Screen TV with Blu Ray /DVD Player, Hide-a-Bed Couch for two more to sleep, Games and Movies, Wet Bar with a Mini Fridge and a full Bathroom with Shower.

Nice place and beautiful views. The king bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on; it had a gap in the middle. But everything else is quite good.

Beautiful cabin, nice amenities, great view, excellent communication; the constant drip from the kitchen faucet was exasperating and is wasting gallons of water, host should include dish soap (we left ours for the next guest) and dishwasher detergent. Overall, I would rate it a 4.7 so i rounded up to 5.

Cabin stay was nice. We had trouble when we drove into the driveway.....unexpected drop off, that required help to fix, fortunately we weren't planning on leaving again that evening and maintenance came the next morning to pull us out. Owner needs to address this as apparently we weren't the only ones that have done this. We didn't use the hot tub, but the cabin was clean and comfortable.

The cabin was great
beautiful, spacious, and clean. The views were to die for!!! My only suggestion for the owner/warning for renters is that there is a pretty significant drop off in the back
..some type of railing around the bottom patio area would be a great addition for safety! But overall it was an amazing vacation home and we will for sure be back!

The mountain views changed each day and never disappointed!! This mountain home was just right for us. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy our time of rest and relaxation. The master bedroom view was just as great as the living room view. We spent a lot of time on the deck just soaking in the fresh air and ever changing views.

We 9 my wife and I) have stayed in the area multiple times but at another location. For a change of view, literally, we booked this house. We were extremely pleased and will be back again. The pictures presented in the listing barely give justice to reality.10 out of 10!

Fantastic View

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice and quiet and the view is amazing. The game room in the basement was fun on rainy days and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the property manager was quick and easy. I would definitely stay again.

This was our second year vacationing at this cabin. Our experience was phenomenal both times! We were happy to see lots of upgrades this year including new flooring, beds, downstairs patio, and patio furniture. The property manager, Roxanne, was very friendly and hospitable. My family and I would definitely stay here again and again!

Beautiful cabin and fantastic view!

We enjoyed our stay and relaxed on the back deck every day and evening. I would like to share some comments: coffee carafe was dirty with coffee grounds all over the inside top - we had to spray it out before using. Pillows in master suite should be changed out; they are extremely worn. Sides on pool table are loose; screws are not holding in place. Bulb at bottom of 1st flight of stairs going to basement is blown. Housekeeper missing cobwebs in corners about eye view in all rooms.

Amazing

This property is highly rated for a reason. I cannot express how much I loved this cabin. Extremely clean. Beautiful view. Patio is private which I loved. Hot tub is great. Fast Wi-Fi. Kitchen has basic spices, oils, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, etc. New washer and dryer. Beds are comfortable. Carpet is brand new. Plenty of space. Neighborhood is quiet and nice. A wonderful experience.
