Welcome to the Midtown Bungalow – A Comfortable Retreat Near Fort Moore

This charming and spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is the perfect place for families visiting for military graduation ceremonies, a pageant, sporting event, family weekends, or just to spend quality time with their soldier. Located in Midtown Columbus, you’ll enjoy a peaceful, walkable neighborhood just a 15 min drive from Fort Moore, 5 min walk to Lakebottom Park, and local favorites like Parker’s Pantry.

Inside, the home features a separate living room and family room, offering plenty of space to relax or gather. The family room includes a queen-size sleeper sofa, providing extra sleeping space. Both bedrooms are furnished with comfortable queen beds, and the kitchen opens to the dining room, making mealtime feel welcoming and easy. A full laundry room with washer and dryer adds extra convenience for longer stays.

Host was super welcoming and very responsive to any questions. Cute place and beds were very comfortable! Nice little residential area and about a 15 min drive to Fort Benning for soldiers graduation for those of you coming for that. Overall it was a great place to stay!

RATS, SMELLS OF URINE

When we first entered the home, it smelled very strongly of animal urine. Our second night there we heard rats squealing and scratching inside the walls above the laundry room area. There were also urine stains in the ceiling of the laundry room. The noise was very loud and was quite honestly very unsettling. The rest of the home was charming and clean. But the rat problem ruined it. I reached out to Elle to inform her of this problem, and she thanked me for letting her know. I expected at least a partial refund. But nothing. Will be returning to Columbus often, but will never stay here again.

Great Columbus GA location

This sweet 1940’s bungalow is a perfect location to explore Columbus. It’s a short walk to Lakebottom Park: an exceptional urban park with walking paths and track, ball fields and tennis courts. A new, state of the art, playground will be completed by mid-May 2025.The Dragonfly Trail systems are close by and the Chattahoochee Riverwalk is only about 2 miles away. Bring your bikes! The pedestrian bridge over the river is about a 15 minute ride, and Flatrock park about 40 minutes (old lady bike times).The home is spacious with a back deck looking toward the park and wide front porch with comfortable rocking chairs. While retaining its original charm, the home is nicely updated and has a well stocked kitchen. This property is perfect for a long term stay or shorter visits for graduations, plays, sports events or just exploring Columbus.

Adorable Property

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Great location, close to many places to eat and shop. We stayed for our son's graduation from boot camp and it had all the necessities, we were able to buy food to cook a few meals, which we did. It was very comfortable. Perfect for a family or 2 couples. Great outdoor space also! Definitely recommend

“Perfect Stay – Highly Recommend!”

I had a fantastic time staying at Midtown Bungalow place! The space was incredibly clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient, and everything I needed was within easy reach. The bed was so comfortable, and the little touches like fresh coffee and toiletries made it feel extra special. Awesome Stay

I rented this home for a few days with my wife and daughter to watch my sons turning green ceremony. The home was as described close to the base restaurants and 1 block from the park. Elle is a great hostess and very responsive if u need anything message her and she responds with a quick answer. This home was a great place for my son to spend some time away from base to relax and unwind. I would definitely rent again if in the area.

Great stay!

Midtown Bungalow was just how the pictures showed, cozy, comfortable and accesible to many near by stores and restaurants. Elle is such a great host and very responsive to my questions. We visited Georgia due to my brother in laws turning green ceremony. It’s very close to base about 15/20 drive. I recommend staying here if you’re visiting out of town the home is close to grocery stores and restaurants. Overall, we will be rebooking in the near future! Thanks Elle for the accommodations!

Darling House

Darling house in nice neighborhood with a park nearby. Playground and walking trail among other amenities. 15-20 minute drive to Fort Moore. I highly recommend for 2-4 people.

Dang Near Perfect

The home was as shown online. It looks much newer in photos but it's not. They have taken some good steps to make it as comfortable as possible for its age! We loved the open spacious rooms, the fun family games, extra blankets, and the comfortable white couch. The kitchen was fully stocked and that was much appreciated that! -not food of course It was in a nice safe feeling neighborhood. We love the World Continent wall feature! So fun, we made a game out of it. Would love to know where they got it. I want one! What we didn't care for... It could have been dusted better *bathroom and all blinds and vents. The workmanship of the carpenter and painter are lacking. The beds are pretty cheap and loud. The mattresses are not the most comfortable. The pillows sucked so we bought them 4-new ones. You're welcome! lol It's in nice driving distance from everything including Ft. Moore Base. We didn't care for the uncomfortable brown couch. The two couches should be switched so the most comfortable one (white) is in with the TV or replaced. Its made for very small people :) and I'm not big 5'4" Other than that this place was awesome! We really did loved it! Thank you for the very nice stay, we will be back and rent from you again!

Great place
