This home is also in a great location - just a few blocks to the San Diego Bay! South bay / National City is a great spot to explore while you're here on vacation! It has lots of shopping centers, grocery stores, and both big chain stores like Walmart as well as lots of mom and pop shops to check out!

The Space:
3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom 2 story 1700 sq foot home in National City

Downstairs, you'll find the comfy living room, fully stocked kitchen, the half bathroom, and a dining room. We have an electric fireplace, TV, and lots of seating to make sure you enjoy hanging out in the living room. Upstairs, you'll find the 3 bedrooms, the washer and dryer, and the other two bathrooms. The master bedroom boasts a private balcony so you can sip your morning coffee and soak up some San Diego sun in the mornings, or swap the coffee out for a nice beer or glass of wine at the end of the day! You'll also find a big comfy king sized bed and a desk for your home away from home work needs. But of course, try not to work too hard!

In our private backyard, you'll find a children's playset, toys, picnic table, outdoor dining table w/ umbrella, firepit, market lights, and propane grill! Be sure to plug those market lights in for some fun ambiance while grilling up your favorite dinners for your friends and family.

The Neighborhood:
Close to lots of Navy bases! Also nearby, Market on 8th is the place where locals and visitors alike can go bond over food, enjoy gourmet coffee and beers, hang out, relax, get some work done and enjoy some live music! This is just a 15 minute walk from our home.

Another place you can't miss out on is Niederfrank's Ice Cream! They still make their ice cream by the most antique, inefficient, outdated and expensive process in the world - AND IT'S DELICIOUS!
For their ice cream they use old fashioned freezers, real fruits and nuts, and extracts must be from 100% natural sources. This is also a 15 minute walk from our home and we highly recommend it!

Just 2.5 miles away, the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge protects a rich diversity of endangered, threatened, migratory, and native species and their habitats in the midst of a highly urbanized coastal environment. You can enjoy some of the most beautiful and unique wildlife in San Diego Bay with tons of trails! Each section is connected by the Bayshore Bikeway. Be sure to check it out!

A quick 14 minute drive south will get you to the Imperial Beach Pier. Imperial beach is a quaint little beach town you'll be sure to love! Walk along the beach and breathe in the salty air or check out the shops in IB.

You're also very close to Chula Vista and Bonita which has a beautiful mall called Plaza Bonita if you're interested in any shopping. You can also drive 15 minutes south to the Las Americas Premium Outlets for some great deals on name brand stores like Nike, Ugg, Under Armour, Vans, and SO many others!!

Getting Around:
A car is the best way to get around the rest of San Diego. Uber / Lyfts are readily available if you aren't bringing your own car!

For your safety, there is a ring doorbell camera at the front door.

San Diego now requires all guests to sign a Good Neighbor Policy document prior to staying. We do enforce their policy so it must be signed in order to receive checkin info, but we will make it super easy for you to initial and sign :) It can all be done online.
