This charming home offers a comfortable and thoughtfully detailed space for your group to unwind. It’s a lived-in, loved home—not a cookie-cutter rental.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
🛏️ 4 bedrooms: Sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably Three bedrooms feature comfortable queen-sized memory foam mattresses. A fourth cozy room is furnished with a twin daybed and a pull-out trundle and foldable crib.
🚿 2 full bathrooms: Two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup towels for your convenience.
☕ Fully equipped kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen includes pots, pans, bakeware, and utensils. Gather your group around the large dining table for shared meals.

🛋️ Living room: Relax on comfortable seating and enjoy your favorite shows on the large Roku TV.

We stayed here over Christmas with our large family and had a great experience. The neighborhood was excellent—quiet, safe, and very family-friendly. The fenced-in yard was a huge plus for our dogs, and the space worked well for everyone. This would be an ideal place to stay for a football or basketball weekend. We would happily stay here again.

Truly excellent experience!! Gorgeous neighborhood, friendly neighbors, clean home easy to access, very walkable to campus. We stayed in three VRBO’s in three different college towns and this one was the best of the three!! Great communication with property manager. This was a great experience.

Perfect gathering place

We chose this property for several couples to stay at before a wedding and it worked out wonderfully. There’s enough space in the driveway for two pickups and a car, and the porch was great for bug-free happy hours. The host was easy to contact with questions and very helpful. We had a great stay!

Texas vs Iowa State Football Weekend

LOVE this property and location. Quiet and great vibes. Walking distance to the Iowa State campus to the north and the football stadium to the east. It was a perfect home base for us this weekend. Could not recommend it enough for an awesome Ames extended stay expereince.

Great host and wonderful home!

Communication was so great and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We were there with 8 adults and the common space was great. Three bedrooms very spacious. The room with twin beds is a trundle in small room so plan accordingly. We loved the character of the old home and was updated nicely. Kitchen was well stocked. We would stay again if ever in the area.

Visiting nearby family

Amazing home! Stayed there with 4 adults. Great location and the neighborhood was quite. Kitchen was very well stocked and it was easy to cook dinner for the group. The home was very clean and well maintained. We felt at home! The owner Tricia was very responsive to questions. As the owner mentioned in the listing, she lives there when she is in town. Please be respectful of her home and treat it as if it were your own home. We will stay again!!
