Looking for a serene escape in a convenient location? The Scissortail Farmhouse is a new guest home nestled on the edge of a regenerative farm that supplies produce to many of our best local restaurants. It is minutes from the airport, downtown, and popular Tulsa attractions. We hope you enjoy our little slice of country that is about as close as you can get to the big city!

The Scissortail farmhouse is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bath home. The master bedroom has a luxurious king with a 56” smart TV and it’s own bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen with a twin trundle under it. There is a queen pull out mattress in the living room.

The kitchen is fully functional and spills into the living room with a giant 75” smart TV. The living room has a double glass slider to access the back patio equipped with a 6 person HOT TUB, gas grill, wood burning fire pit. You will also find a cornhole game set on the patio. Horses are often grazing the pasture behind the home.

Host courteous and expedient, bird watching among other wildlife plus farm animals, big screen tvs for football games, fan in each room, well equipped kitchen, firepit, spa, even-burning grill, comfortable mattress in master, chimenea, and peace
Mollie and Red waiting to see us in the a.m. They know the sound of the sliding glass doors. Very sweet.

Booked for a weekend getaway for our anniversary and enjoyed a chance for some quiet. Even though the host is next door, it still felt private to just enjoy the hot tub, grill some steaks, and roast some marshmallows. The house is deceptively cozy on thd inside, and the hosts are very attentive.

Cute & Perfect

Perfect place for our little family to spend fall break from Kentucky at. Daughter loved seeing & petting the horses. It was a wonderful getaway. Definitely recommend.

This house was so cute. Nice and clean. The hot tub was great! There are horses and donkeys right beyond the fence so it was fun watching them as we were eating our breakfast.

Great place to relax

Property was awesome. The horses come right up to the fence and love to be petted. The hosts offer fresh bacon and eggs for a charge was a really nice touch. Very close to downtown Tulsa but still has that out in the middle of the country feel.

Country Cottage

The Scissortail Farmhouse is adorable, private, comfortable and quiet. We had a wonderful stay during Christmas while visiting family in nearby Owasso. The cute decorations were a nice touch. Chad and Reagan are great to communicate with and our entire stay was extremely enjoyable. We hope to stay again when we return to the area.

Scissortail farm house

We absolutely enjoyed the peaceful stay. Chad and Reagan are great hosts. Definitely buy their products. The backn, eggs and brats are fantastic! We loved watching the horses and interacting with them. You’re within 10-30 minutes of activities and restaurants. Coming back to the peace of the farm was delightful! I definitely recommend and look forward to staying again!

What a Sweet Spot

A little bit of country and a quick jump into the city when needed. We had a great time. Chad and Regean were super helpful and quick to respond to our needs. Their place is extremely nice! We got into the hot tub, cooked on the grill and we could have had an outdoor fire in the pit but we didn't have time. Everything was just as described and we had everything we needed. We even got a sample of their chicken eggs and got to feed and pet their horses from our back patio! Thank you. Would definitely stay again!!!

Peaceful and pretty.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely farmhouse. Upon entering we instantly felt at peace. The decor and ambiance in the inside are just so lovely and comfortable, and the private view to the outside watching the horses was very entertaining and peaceful as well. We also enjoyed the large, and comfy patio area were we had our morning coffee, rested after a day of out and about while greeting the horses. There were two donkeys living nearby that had us cracking up with their braying. This home is well appointed with everything we needed with all up to date conveniences. We only used the master bedroom bed, and found is to be oh so comfortable. The entire property both inside and out are well kept, tidy, and very clean!

Everything was clean, well planned and tastefully decorated. The Hot tub and fire pit combo were fantastic on a fall night. The horses at the fence and treats provided to coax them over for welcomed attention was the icing on the cake. Just a lovely experience
