Communication with host was excellent, thank you! House is in gated community, added security to the stay. Walking/running trail is excellent for your daily run/walk. Dryer was not functioning, no start button, blinds in den are broken and bath in middle hallway with broken tiles, as per communication, this is being worked on... did not cause any interruption in our stay. Just fyi, take your own trash bags, dish soap and TP for bathroom. We traveled in December, commute to Universal was about 40 to 45 minutes and to Disney about 30 to 35 minutes. Other than the dryer inconvenience, stay was excellent, restful and recommend highly to future travelers! Thank you for everything!

The house is in terrible shape. The other review before me is spot on.The company and/or owner didn’t seem to care. I gave them feedback before I wrote this review to give them a chance to make things right. The only offer was to send someone to clean. Not to fix any of the other stuff. I declined due to having a dog at the house - no apology or offer to reduce or waive the fees due to the excessive number of issues. Issues:Door code didn’t work upon arrivalDirty kitchen towels (pic)Remnants of incense burned and ashes left on sink (pic)No hand soap in any of the bathrooms or kitchen, no dish soap, no starter paper towels. I bought some at the store, (took a pic) and sent the receipt to ask for a whopping 11 reimbursement and didn’t hear a word Washcloths were stained (pic)Ac duct disgusting, no filters (pic)Shower had no screen on drain (just a hole) and something duct taped on wall (pic)Dryer wasn’t usable, washer all rusted out (pic)Most of the blinds are gross…yellowed, broken (pic)Trash was piled up on side of house like it hadn’t been taken out in a month (pic)I couldn’t get in the gate and security (the 2nd day) and couldn’t reach the owner so I was told to pull to the side and just wait.This shouldn’t even be in the rental inventory much less at this price. What a disaster.

Okay, but needs some work
AC was not turned on when we arrived so home was 87. We were unable to sleep, though temperature did go down some in the night so we thought AC was working, just was slow getting temp down. Returned home that evening to find it had only gone up again. Repairman was sent, but was almost 10:00 by the time he left. So another hot night with little sleeep. In fact my husband slept two nights on sofa because it was somewhat cooler there. Owner was aware and offered no compensation, actually acted like it was no big deal the AC had not even been turned on prior to our arrival. They instructed us to turn it completely off upon checking out, so this may be a common problem.
Hard to believe this home was recently renovated, maybe painted and new furniture. Blinds were old and wouldn’t fully close, some slats missing. I found this especially troublesome in the master bedroom. Screen torn off on back patio. Master shower needs work. Other homes we have rented in this community had windowshield barcodes to allow us to pass through a separate entry without stopping for security every time. Just lots of little things, but nothing making home “unstayable”
Overall, this home was just okay. As many homes as are listed in this area, you can easily do better. It lacks a lot of basic amenities we found in other homes, lots of little issues. Our son lives nearby, we rent in this same neighborhood or across the street every time we visit and this home was our first disappointment.
