Cheminée en pierre empilée et intérieur en bois authentique.

Isolé dans cette cabine rustique finement aménagée, vous pourrez vous détendre tout en restant
au coeur des Highlands entouré de toutes les commodités de cette charmante station de montagne
communautĂ©. Des activitĂ©s de montagne de classe mondiale aux expĂ©riences de magasinage pittoresques, vous ĂȘtes
promis une escapade en montagne parfait pour la détente, la romance ou une retraite en famille / amis.

La cabine dispose de deux chambres à coucher avec le cùble sur les téléviseurs à écran plat. Le maßtre a un roi
lit et salle de bain avec baignoire jacuzzi. La deuxiĂšme chambre a un lit queen-size. Peluche
Les serviettes sont inclus dans la salle de bain principale et la deuxiĂšme salle de bain complĂšte. La grande salle comprend un
cheminée en pierre empilée, TV à écran plat, canapé-lit dans le salon et un coin petit-déjeuner confortable.
La cuisine est entiÚrement équipée avec comptoir en granit, appareils en acier inoxydable et laveuse /

The cabin was very comfortable and inviting. The location was excellent. Just six minutes to the town centre but so quiet and peaceful after the bustle of the shopping district. We will definitely rent the cabin again in the future

Perfect family weekend in the mountains

Perfect location and mountain setting for this charming vintage cabin. Mirror Lake is the perfect quiet setting close to everything in town and around Highlands/Cashiers. Loved walking through the neighborhood and enjoying mornings and evenings on the front screened porch. The cabin is cozy and comfortable for our family of 4. We’ll definitely be back to stay again!

Christmas get-away

The cabin was just as described. It was so cozy and quiet, perfect for relaxing and enjoying old Christmas movies. It is located very close to everything you could possibly want. We had incredible meals. We attended the most beautiful church services. The area is scenic and the people very nice. Highly recommend a stay in The Highlands.

Cozy and Convenient

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little historic gem ! It’s located in the most convenient area in Highlands. Easy access to downtown Highlands , delicious BBQ restaurant just a couple minutes away. The cabin is adorable and charming. It feels like stepping back into a simpler time. It has everything you could possibly need to cook daily meals . We loved relaxing by the fire every morning with coffee and at night before bed. So much character and that old historic NC atmosphere we cherish . Owners were really nice and accommodating ! Found it really hard to leave and wished this was our cabin forever haha!

Cozy Cabin

It is the perfect spot to feel you are away from everything and yet at the same time have access to the best dining and shopping. I absolutely love this area and for the value and comfort this place is a gem. Melissa was great at communication which is always appreciated as well. We will for sure be back soon.

The 100 year old cabin was perfect for us. Quiet, friendly neighborhood that is great for walking. Furnishings could be updated in LR, but everything else was updated. Kitchen has new appliances and adequately supplied. Front porch was great for rocking and reading. Very close to town.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We just loved this cute cabin! No detail was missed with the lovely decorations. The cabin has everything you will need, a full kitchen, two bathrooms with full size tubs/showers. The two bedrooms are a very comfortable size. You will really enjoy your visit to this little cabin in the woods!

We were not sure what to expect of a century-old cabin but were not disappointed. Great location a short drive from downtown Highlands, quiet, secluded, surrounded by rhododendron and tall trees. Enjoyed relaxing on the front porch.

Delightful stay

We had a delightful stay at this cottage in the woods, a peaceful, quiet and relaxing ambience with pretty walks at one’s doorstep. It was amazing how many amenities were fit into this compact space. Two double bedrooms, two full baths with tubs, a large kitchen with washer, dryer and a comfortable living area to sit and relax. The kitchen was well equipped such that we ate in as often as out. The comfortable beds made for a restful nights sleep. Everything in its place, it was perfect.

Had a medical emergency

We had to check out two days early. I became very ill and due to existing health issues we had to go home to be close to my kidney dialysis care team . I am in the process of filing a claim as I bought the travel insurance through VRBO. We’ll see if it’s any good. Also, I am asking the owners here if they would consider a partial refund.

Great cabin in a nice location

This is a great cabin close to town, we very much enjoyed our stay. Mirror Lake is a beautiful spot and the cabin is very well kept and nestled in a comfortable setting. The property owners/managers were fantastic, they communicated very quickly and clearly.

There was only 1 half roll of toilet paper and a few sheets of paper towels in the house - we came in late and had to go buy those items. It would be nice to have at least a couple of each item already there!
