Come enjoy our home!
Even though we're 35 minutes from Pittsburgh, no need to leave. You have everything right here!
The space
Relax with your family at this peaceful place by enjoying our spacious, heated pool, outdoor grilling area (Treager smoker, Black Stone griddle, gas grill, charcoal grill, Flip Flop chicken grill), wood burning fire pit, gas fire pit table, small bar and an 8 person hot tub.
The very large outdoor area includes volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and a playground. Perfect area for your dog to run.
Guest access
The entire house is available for your use except for the shed by the driveway and a few locked closets for our personal belongings.
Other things to note
POOL & OUTDOOR RULES

* Pool available May-September.

* Persons under the age of 16 years old are not allowed to use the pool unless accompanied by someone 23 years or older.

* No swimming alone.

* No pets are allowed inside the pool.

* Dog(s) must have flea medicine and/or flea collar on.

* Do not leave children unattended or unsupervised around the pool area or playground. Drowning or serious injury can be a result of a lack of proper supervision.

* Alcohol and drugs should never be used by swimmers.

* Do not touch the pool heater (Temperature is preset to 86 degrees).

* No running or horseplay.

* No rollerblades, skates or ride on toys inside the pool area.

* Glass and sharp objects are not permitted in the pool or pool areas.

* Beverages must be in a can, paper or plastic containers. NO GLASS in the pool area.

* Any child/person in diapers must be in swim diapers when in the pool.

* No diving into the shallow end. This can result in serious injury or even death.

* Wet concrete in the pool area and under the deck can be very slippery. Please walk slowly around these areas. No running.

This was the finest VRBO I’ve ever rented. The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident throughout the property and in their responsiveness leading up to your stay. The beds were super comfortable. I’d highly recommend this property.

This place was amazing. The owners really have thought of everything to make the stay an enjoyable one. Multiple times we thought of things we forgot and lo and behold, it was provided by the owners. Absolutely beautiful home and a thoroughly enjoyable stay. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Great Weekend

Stayed for a long weekend with some friends. Pretty easy trip into downtown Pittsburgh where we were able to catch a pirates game. This house had everything! Couldn’t have asked for anything else I’d give six stars if I could.

Family getaway

Billy Boy Retreat is a beautifully appointed home. We were there in March so the swimming pool wasn’t open but we enjoyed the patio with its plastic enclosure , hot tub, tv and fire table. Anything you could think of needing was available at this home. We also enjoyed a Saturday afternoon trip at the Coal Tipple brewery.

LOVELY Property With All The Details

Dave and Stacy were incredible hosts! They have thought of all of the touches to make a getaway to their home wonderful. We picked this house because of the outside area and hot tub, and it did not disappoint! Huge hot tub, outdoor karaoke, multiple fire pits, and tons of blankets. They even had treats for our four legged baby, and plenty of toiletries in the bathrooms. This house was fantastic and we will gladly be back.

Amazing Getaway

We rented the Billie Boy Retreat, for my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner and family stay for the wedding. The house was absolutely amazing. This was our first time renting on vrbo, so we didn’t know what to really expect. However, the hosts Dave and Stacy, went way above my expectations. It was more than I could ever imagine. I have to tell you a little story. My mom was in a wheelchair during our stay and the house was perfectly accessible for her needs. I left her walker at home, I sent a message to Stacy and Dave asking if they had a a walker in the house. They told me sorry but no, I woke up the next morning to a text message telling me to look outside the garage door and when I open the garage door to my surprise, there was a walker. I was totally blown away! Dave and Stacy are truly the hostess with the most… not to mention they have the garage set up with tables and chairs. They also dressed the tables in the wedding colors with a sign, congratulating the bride and groom by name. I cannot say it enough our stay was just absolutely amazing from the house to the views. If you choose to stay at the Billie Boy Retreat trust me, you will not regret it!! Thank you Dave & Stacy….We will definitely be returning!

Best Ever Vacation Rental - This place is awesome!

We rent a vacation home very year for our entire family - our two daughters and their husbands and our four grandchildren. We have stayed in some wonderful places but this one is going to be hard to beat. The owners were great, and the house was well stocked and better than the listing promised. There were so many activities available that we didn't get to take advantage of during our 7 day stay. The magnificent pool and jacuzzi were a big hit. The house was stocked with lots of toys and equipment for the pool, including a water slide and basket ball equipment. The owners also provided numerous pool towels. We had great weather so we were able to spend most of our time on the unbelievable patio equipped with large screen tv and sound system. It was like a second family room. The entire family enjoyed a karaoke night on the patio. There were several outdoor tables with umbrellas so dining outside was easy. And, I should mention the incredible outside kitchen with every possible type of outdoor cooking device. The owners made our final day and departure easy. We just had to pack up and go home. Oh, and we also brought our two dogs, Izzy and Rosie. They had a great time too. The dogs felt right at home when they found a bin of dog toys, The owners even provided Izzy and Rosie with bags of personalized dog treats. We had a great time and wonderful accommodations!

THE BEST STAY WE EVER HAD

First of all I have to say I am not a friend or a family of the host Dave, because it might start sounding like one of them writing this review. This place is absolutely AMAZING. We were here for Christmas get together trip, and as soon as we got inside we decided not to leave the house at all for the whole 2 nights because it was that great. The house is actually even better than the photos-which are already really nice. Everything is super clean, well organized with bunch of details and care. The hosts made the place look beautiful with the giant Christmas tree and all the pretty lights, flowers, and plants. We brought 2 dogs and they even prepared dog snacks in a jar for them. Dave and Stacy left a basket of fruits and wine, and a lot of chocolates for us well. Pizzas were in the fridge too for the gift, which we did not get to finish because we bought a lot of food on the way but it was just too nice of them I had to put in the review. The hosts are very kind and communicates quickly as well. The hot tub is huge and we loved the game room (basement) as well. It is a perfect house to stay in and have fun if you have a pretty large group of people. The house cleaning rules are very simple and easy too, so we did not take much of time at all to check out in the morning. I am definitely coming back here again, so I kind of don't want this place to become too popular but at the same time they really deserve to be popular so I am writing this honest long review lol.
