Welcome to our newly renovated 2 bedroom/2 bath condo situated right on Turquoise Bay in St. Croix.
The view from our gallery is amazing. It is a wonderful place to watch the sunrise while having your morning coffee or have a cocktail while looking at the beautiful ocean colors. Not only does the condo have a beachfront view, it has direct beach access from the secure gallery. Imagine stepping onto the beach and into the Caribbean from your living room, or master bedroom gallery!
Unit 101D at Colony Cove has all the amenities of home with in-suite laundry, brand new kitchen cabinets, three TV's, new appliances, new mattresses, hotel quality bed linens and towels, newly tiled and decorated bathrooms, tropical decor throughout, and a breath taking view that will keep you coming back to this vacation rental.
Outside, enjoy sunny afternoons by the in ground pool, or explore the underwater sea life in front of the condo. The condo was beautiful, clean and had all the amenities you would want from a VRBO. We made breakfast most mornings and packed up the large cooler they had and headed to various beaches. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room in the closets and dresser to keep your clothing. We would definitely stay there again!! The view was spectacular!! Thanks Susan & Carl :)

Beautiful Place and location

The owner had the place decorated so nice. The place was nicely furnished and it has a perfect location. This condo will be my go to place when I'm in town. Thanks for a wonderful experience in St Croix.

The unit is very nice. The images in the listing are accurate and what you see is what you will actually get. The amenities made the unit feel more like a home away from home rather than an empty rental unit.The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. My back didn't hurt all week. I wish people would include more of this sort of info in a review. Carl and Susan were a pleasure to deal with and answered all our questions promptly.

Great View, Clean Place

My wife and I stayed here for a week for some relaxation. The condo was very clean had a patio that opened onto a beach where you can watch the sunrise and had plenty of clean towels and linens. The owners provided a list of favorite places and charters, this was a great help for scheduling tours and picking hidden gem restaurants. I would stay again, great value.

We stayed at the colony cove condos.

We were really impressed by the neat, clean appearance of the property and friendly attitude of security personnel and manager Kevin. Unit was very clean when we arrived. Kevin let us in and made us feel comfortable before leaving. The owner did a fantastic job with having helpful tips and suggestions written up with where to eat, sunbathe, or hang out! Definitely already looking at date for next visit!

Wonderful Stay!

This condo was beautiful! Very clean and welcoming. We picked the hottest time of the year to be there; a/c units helped immensely. All questions were answered. Wonderful!!

Thank you so much Susan and Carl for allowing us to stay in your great condo. It was right on the beach and we sat and watched the water from early in the morning to the night. The condo is in mid island and close to everything. It is filled with everything you need and was perfect. The pictures did not do it justice it was more beautiful in person. The owners were available to answer any questions and the maintance man was wonderful as he directed us to the location. The Brezze restaurant was wonderful, great food! I would recommend this condo to everyone we had a great time and look forward to returning. Thank you so much Susan and Carl!

Great condo! Perfection!

We stayed in this condo for 8 days, and all 8 days were pure magic. From the time we arrived, we fell in love. This was our third trip to St. Croix and by far, the best. We brought 2 of our friends with us this time to share the experience. They loved it as well. From waking up to a gorgeous sunrise every morning, to snorkeling out in the crystal blue water, this condo has everything. The owners answered a few questions we had before the trip, and even gave us a few pointers, which we used. Truly class act people. I would suggest to anyone, stay here. You won't regret it. Also, get out and explore St. Croix! What a beautiful place!

Exactly as described . . . right on the water . . . and wonderful

It was nice to be able to walk off the porch and go straight into the water to snorkel. Place is comfortable and easy to relax. For our first trip to St. Croix, we found that the locals are lazy outside of the condo complex and have no ambition. There are many workers from mainland there and they are most helpful as they want to make you happy so you want to return. Recommend renting a jeep as some roads can be quite rough. I recommend driving around the island at the beginning of your trip as there is so much to see. Last day we went the East end and we should have gone much earlier in the trip. We plan to rent from Carl and Susan again! Have Fun!!

Sargassum

There is a problem with sargassum which the owner knew about but did not let me know prior to arrival. The smell was terrible and the water/beach not usable. I stayed for one half hour and was refunded my money less one nights stay and cleaning. My first time to use VRBO and my last.

What a gem!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family, in every way. It was comfortable, clean, and the best location of the entire complex. The pool was just steps away and the snorkeling right in front of the condo was excellent. The real gem of this location is the wonderful galley. I could sit there all day/night and never get tired of the view. Having a restaurant/bar, right next door, was wonderful. Being from the summer heat of Texas, I was worried about the air conditioning only being in the bedrooms. The owner assured me that there was no need to worry and he was so right. The highs (in July) were in the 80's with a wonderful breeze blowing. We fell in love with this condo and St. Croix. We will definately be back and we thank you for sharing your gem with us!

Wonderful stay in Paradise!!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property! Colony Cove is very welcoming and we felt so relaxed from the moment we stepped on the island. We rented a car and it made travel all over the island very easy!! We loved all the different eateries we visited from Kendrick's in downtown Christiansted to Eat at Cane bay on the North Shore. We also visited Rainbow beach in Fredricksted after horseback riding with Jill from Paul and Jill's horseback riding and we made our way to Divi Casino which is a hit on the island! We can't wait to go back and try some of the activities that we didn't get to try. Snorkeling at Buck Island is a must do!!! We couldn't get enough of snorkeling. We were so grateful that we had snorkel gear at the condo for our use! We will definitely come back, thanks again for your great customer service, the unit was clean and well stocked upon arrival with superb instructions on where to find everything! You don't want to miss this awesome opportunity!

NICE!

The condo is just as described, and very comfortable. The complex is gated and secure and also had a security guard on duty. I would recommend a rental car to run into town and see the sights. Everyone we encounter was very friendly and helpful making it a spectacular vacation. The condo sits out toward the beach just enough so when you are on the patio you don't see your neighbors, just the ocean. The security codes had been changed recently so had a little difficulty with access but the on duty security guard helped us out. The closest restaurant, (just steps away) is under new management, really friendly, but was less than impressed with dinner. Drinks and appetizers were good though. Breezez, a short walk down the beach has great food and friendly people. I would highly recommend the condo and will return if I make it back to St. Croix.

Awesome Condo!

This condo was even more than we expected, from the pleasant island décor to the wonderful mornings sipping coffee and enjoying breakfast from the gallery with a fantastic view! Out of the 11 days that we stayed we only ate breakfast out once and dinner out 3 times because we felt the view was the best from our condo. Carl and Susan and the Colony Cove Staff were wonderful. The staff were so prompt and helpful anytime we needed anything. We loved that we could barbecue right outside our door at the pool area. The way the condo is situated it makes you feel like you have your own little private paradise. Everything you need is in the condo. We enjoyed the beautiful warm, clear aqua blue water at many of the nearby un-crowded beaches. The Buck Island tour is a must! We had Isaac's Bay practically to ourselves for snorkeling. Also, the calm water on the West end was worth the drive. Lot's of beautiful fish. We definitely recommend this condo! Thank you Carl and Susan for sharing your place with us! T & B

The property is clean, bright and has everything you might think you need for your vacation.

We came to St. Croix for a wedding and might not have ever visited the island otherwise. I also used VRBO to book the unit, which was also my first time using. The property looks exactly like the pictures. Our stay there was very quiet and peaceful - we loved that we could relax and enjoy the water and the sun right outside the condo. The condo is well cared for, no bugs and very clean. We stayed in and cooked for most of our trip and the only suggestion I have is a fan in the kitchen area to circulate while cooking. It was very humid for our trip, came right as hurricane Matthew just passed through the Bahamas, but the ocean breeze was lovely and we kept the back door and front door open until we went to bed. The condo is a great location and very secure. We spent many nights outside and the security attendant makes regular walks. The condos are also in a gated community with code only access. You definitely can't go wrong with staying at Colony Cove and if I ever come back I will book this condo again. The owners are very nice and made sure our stay was comfortable. Sincerely, Kim C.

Perfect Place to Relax!

This condo was such a blessing to us. We stayed for an amazing 12 days, June 18 to June 29th. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were ideal for my wife, me, and our 13 year old son. Everything we could possibly need for our almost two week stay was right there. Being so close to the beautiful courtyard, pool, and the incredible ocean was simply perfect. My wife and I will certainly miss having coffee together every morning on the gallery watching the sun peak above the horizon. It was so great having the beach just steps away. Every day we went snorkeling in our back yard and saw many various species of sea life. We even saw a baby octopus on our first day. We also enjoyed walking down the beach to dine at Breezes. The food and staff were both incredible. We always felt relaxed, comfortable, and very safe. I must also say that we all enjoyed visiting with Nick the security guard as he made his frequent walks around the complex. He is an awesome guy with a huge smile and heart. Nick even brought a couple of ripe mangos from his own tree for us to enjoy. He was an absolute joy! Hopefully we can make it back to St. Croix someday, and if so I would not want to stay anywhere else except 101D, Colony Cove. It was AWESOME!

Beautiful condo, great location!

This was our first trip to St. Croix and loved this condo! The condo is located in a convenient area on the island. Very quick and easy drive to Christiansted. But also easy to travel to both ends of the island, from Point Udall to Fredericksted! The condo had everything we needed, including snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, and even little extras (such as band-aids and sunburn relief spray and lots of hangers in the closets!). The bedrooms have AC units, which we used only at night to sleep comfortably. The unit gets an incredible breeze throughout the day that cools the condo down. We used the washer and dryer everyday. The unit was clean and very comfortable. The property has a gate with 24-hr security on site. The pool was enjoyable, clean, and just steps away from this unit. The beach is relaxing out front, we snorkeled the tire reef and enjoyed the incredible fish, and the evening views of Christiansted are just as pleasant. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions as we were booking to stay. They also helped guide us with some ideas for things to do on the island. They were very easy to work with! For those considering a trip, a few must To-Do items: Go to Buck Island (we used Caribbean Sea Adventures Sailing trip and had a great experience), Kayak the Bioluminescent Bay (Bush Tribe Eco Adventures did a great job), feed the beer-drinking pigs in the rain forest, visit Rainbow Beach, Hike to the Tide Pools of Analy (if the hike is too strenuous for some people in your group, consider a ride by Jeep, we saw Tan-Tan Tours out there), eat at 40-Strand, Breakfast at Toast, find La Reine Chicken Shack for a favorite local eats, and shop in Christiansted (Sonya's for Cruzan Hook bracelet)! We would stay in this condo again! Great location, great price, great owners! Thank you for sharing your home on the island!

Great condo with a superb ocean view!

This condo was definitely "home away from home". It had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable with very nice decor. The manager was extremely helpful and responsive. The owners were very helpful and responsive. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms including ceiling fans. There is only a ceiling fan in the living room. We opened the sliding glass door to the veranda and the front door and there was always an excellent breeze flowing through the room. Unfortunately, all the Caribbean Islands are having a problem with seaweed coming from Bermuda. So every morning, the workmen would clean the beach, but by evening the seaweed was back. There are so many shells on the beach that we enjoyed collecting. We never swam in the water in front of the building, but we took several snorkeling trips. The best one was to Buck Island - gorgeous coral. We rented a car from the manager of the unit and drove all over the island. I highly recommend this unit and will definitely be back sometime in the future.

Peaceful & relaxing

Our first time visiting St. Croix and using Home Away. On arrival walking through the door and looking straight ahead to see the ocean~oh my! How beautiful!! The condo is as described and everything mentioned was provided. We have absolutely no complaints. The beach there may not be the most perfect on the island to swim in but the snorkeling was great! There are fish out in the tire reef!! We highly recommend renting a vehicle, specifically a Jeep! If you are worried about driving on the left side don't be. You quickly learn :) and the freedom of taking off on the island and exploring was awesome! You will not get lost, the island is small enough no matter where you go you will find your way around. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us, we so enjoyed the lanai~best place to relax and oh that warm breeze!! Loved it so much! Totally quiet & relaxing!!

No need to look any further--THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!

Tropical Paradise has it all! The water views when walking in the door are breathtaking! The condo has everything you could ask for...beach towels, snorkel equip, beach chairs & it goes on. The bedrooms are a great size with comfortable beds & a/c units however, the trade winds keep it cool & breezy & we never had to turn them on. The kitchen has everything also for eating in & the convenience of a washer/dryer unit. Everything was clean & nicely decorated and many books are available. The lanai is AWESOME! It's much larger than in the photos & we spent many hours out there, coffee in the morning to cocktails in the evening. The condo is just 2 miles from Christiansted where there's a boardwalk on the water with restaurant/bars, shopping and much more. The architecture is amazing and you'll find chickens & roosters roaming the streets & sidewalks. We rented a Jeep to explore the whole island which I recommend if you're able. There's so much to see! The island is beautiful & offers so many different views from every side. We found a smaller beach in Fredricksted called Rainbow Beach that offers Jet ski's, snorkeling, beach volleyball and more. It tends to be calmer on that side & offers a restaurant where you can watch the sun set. And you HAVE to make a point to kayak in the Bioluminescent Bay, it's truly magical! And of course, snorkeling at Buck Island. There's so much to do here but at the end of the day, coming back to this Tropical Paradise and it's central location, is the cherry on top! Great condo right on the water

I walked into the condo and looked straight through and saw the water. Absolutely beautiful. I was worried about the living room and kitchen not being air conditioned but with the sliders and front door open there was a great breeze. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were nice. My favorite part of the condo and even St.Croix was the lanai! I spent a lot of time on a rocking chair watching the colors of the water change. The Cove is perfect for swimming, warm and crystal clear. There is even a tire reef for snorkeling. I would highly recommend this condo for a stay in St. Croix!

Perfect Location

This was our first vacation renting a condo and we picked a great place. The unit is modern and decorated in a tropical theme. With the beach right outside, we sat on the lanai and watched the waves in the morning. We could hear the waves at night. The pool was recently remodeled and located just outside our front door. Everyone from other renters to workers to owners were so friendly and helpful. The owners have the unit well maintained and filled with everything we needed and kept us well informed about the unit and the island. There is a grocery store just up the hill and 2 restaurants along the beach.( The Golden Rail had the best $2 tacos on Wednesday.) The bedroom air conditioning units kept us cool at night. The beach is rocky with seaweed but lots of shells and you can snorkle right there. We did rent a car to explore the island and cities and find other beaches. We were very lucky to find this place.

Beautiful condo in fabulous location!

This was our first trip to St Croix and the Caribbean and we were not disappointed! The condo is beautiful and has everything you need. And the view - never tired of it! Sparkling blue water and hillside dotted with twinkling lights. This condo was very convenient for us, being on one floor and on the beach, as my husband has Parkinson's Disease and mobility issues. There is so much to see and do on the island: we took a sunset cruise (complete with rain and a rainbow) and the bioluminescent tour with Virgin Kayaks was simply amazing! My son and his fiance enjoyed snorkeling in Cane Bay although the area in front of the condo was equally enjoyable. They saw sea urchins, many colorful fish, even an octopus! Driving up to Point Udall showed us a different side of the island - hauntingly beautiful. Each beach had its own beauty and charm. We were surprised by a British girl selling homemade baked goods on a drive through the rain forest - you just never know what you will find around the bend! Strolling down the boardwalk and meeting the artisans in Christiansted makes for a pleasant afternoon. The owners are wonderful to deal with and Kevin, the manager, is terrific. All in all, we found only one difficult thing - having to leave (stay longer than a week if you can)! But be prepared - St Croix will creep into your heart and soul! The condo and the amazing location - truly a tropical paradise!
