Welcome to Songbird Sojourn! This birder cottage is located in Cape May Point, surrounded by nature and perfect for your next beach vacation! The home welcomes you with a large front deck perfect for your morning coffee. Once inside you will find a grand living room with cathedral ceilings, an eat in kitchen and access to the back deck and large back yard. The first floor is complete with a bedroom with a Queen bed and full bathroom. Up the stairs, you will find a catwalk that overlooks the living room, two more bedrooms, the first with a queen sized bed and the second with two twin beds. The second floor is complete with a full bathroom. There is also a Queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy all Cape May Point has to offer at Songbird Sojourn while you are only a few minutes away from downtown Cape May. Call today for your reservation!

This house we was so sweet and comfortable. And perfectly located for beach and being near our relatives. I got to ride my bike every day and come home to a very special place. Melanie was very kind and accommodating.

My family and I stayed here for a week and we all loved it! The layout of the home is open and bright with a newly renovated kitchen that is well-appointed for cooking and grilling. Communication with the owner and property manager was smooth, and they were very responsive. If you are looking for a quiet, restful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the perfect location. Sunset views from the Alexander Ave beach are stunning. We are hoping to come back soon!

Charming and comfortable house in beautiful Cape May Point. The owner was very helpful with instructions on how to get into the house and readily available in case we needed help with anything. The house is very well appointed, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. We appreciated the comfort of the house and we wished we could have used the welcomingfront deck but unfortunately the weather was very rainy during our visit.

The pros: house was very clean, host was communicative, location was excellent - close to beaches, shops, restaurants and several nature trails. The cons: outlets did not work in either bathroom, a/c did not seem to reach one of the 2 upstairs bedrooms, ran out of hot water quickly in upstairs shower, vegetation in front and back yards was very buggy (unable to enjoy either deck).

We relaxed, we cooked, and we sat on the deck with the beautiful container garden surrounding us. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

A shady, nature feel getaway

We really enjoyed our fall getaway here. If you love walking and biking, this neighborhood is great. It is also close to Sunset point which is wonderful to visit too.

This house has everything needed for a comfortable stay for a small family. The location is excellent for access to beaches, great biking, nature hikes, sunset watching, and enjoying the many birds of Cape May. The owner is very responsive and helpful.

Mother’s Day weekend with family

Great Spot!

We were very comfortable in the house, needing nothing. Mel was very responsive to any questions. And we walked to the beach several times a day, as well as the lighthouse and state park. Perfect location!!!

Our stay was fine because the weather was great. The property manager was very nice but the house needs things- better organization in kitchen, better cleaning the kitchen garbage pail was awful it smelled horrible and need to be cleaned or thrown out.. the flowers in front brought bees and it was really the only place to eat .. fortunately it was nice out.

Wonderful airy sunny cottage

Wonderful space -- open living room with huge windows, nice grounds with gardens and trees providing plenty of privacy. Great front porch and back deck for eating, hanging out, reading . . Cozy bedrooms, comfortable beds. Well-outfitted and generously-stocked kitchen. Nice attention to detail with plenty of birding and beach gear, and very close to interesting shopping and to beaches. Attentive and thoughtful host.

Lovely week at Cape May Point

We couldn't have asked for a better week--great weather, wonderful location and the house was perfect for us. The hosts have created a comfortable and attractive nest for their guests. The house was clean, well-organized, and very appealing. When we had a minor glitch at the beginning of our stay, the hosts were immediately responsive. We loved walking to the beach to watch the sunset. We would definitely go back!
