Beautiful Rice River Flowage/Lake Nokomis home on almost 2 acres! Miles of waterway to explore. This home was professionally & completely renovated and updated in 2009. 3 bedrooms with additional day bed. Full use of water equipment including 12 person pontoon for additional fee. Nokomis has several restaurants, coffee shop, and ice cream shop available by boat. Property is at the end of the road giving you a nice very private setting with level sand frontage.

I come to the Northwoods every year and this by far has been my favorite place. It is perfect setting inside and out. All the little extras you may need for your trip are all provided. Can’t say enough good things about this place!!!

Second time renters! Highly recommended. Well appointed, comfortable house right on the lake. Beautiful patio with fire pit, grill and Black Stone flat top for those big breakfasts and smash burgers!!

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more! The attention to detail at this property was amazing. After checking out several properties to stay at it, we were very grateful that this property description is everything and more than what was listed. The amenities are endless. We enjoyed the campfire, sunsets, and waterfront the most and had some fun exploring the nearby islands. It was an amazing stay and we will be back. Thank you to our hosts!!

Wonderful property with nice sandy lake frontage and all the amenities you could want in the Northwoods of WI. The lake has several cool islands to explore, along with some great restaurants you can dock right up to in their pontoon. It was the perfect setting for a very special trip—I even proposed to my fiancĂ©e here! Will definitely stay again

Relaxing and Fun

This is our second time staying on this beautiful property! The house is spacious and inviting, and has everything you need! We spent most of our time outdoors on the lake, by the fire pit, or hangin out in the screened in porch area. The owners are very responsive and communicative. We will be coming back again next year!

Perfect Northwoods Retreat

Nestled at the end of a quiet secluded road is this beautiful wooded property where there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. From the large patio and firepit, to the outdoor dining table and Blackstone grill. The kayaks and paddle boards made exploring the lake a lot of fun. The dock shape and size made pontoon boating a breeze. Watching the sunrise from the 3 season room was a wonderful way to start the day. The beautiful lake is visible from all the right places in the home. We found this home to be very warm and inviting, with a fantastic well appointed kitchen. There are several cozy spots in this home to relax and unwind. The sofas, chairs and beds are very comfortable. Area supperclubs offered excellent food and drinks. Everyone we encountered were friendly, helpful and fun.We have spent many, many summer vacations Up North. This is, by far, one of our favorite locations. Scott & Christin thought of everything to make this place top notch!

Relaxing Hideaway

Beautiful home with all the amenities. Gentle slope to the lake. The pontoon boat made fishing and sightseeing so much easier. We loved every minute of our stay.

Beautiful property

This house is beautiful and well equipped. The yard is spacious and well maintained. The patio and fire pit are perfect for family gatherings and the lake is lovely. The back-up generator was really appreciated when we lost power during a thunder storm!There was a mechanical issue during our stay which was promptly addressed by the owner.We would definitely rent this house again if we return to the area.

This place far exceeded our expectations! The owners were very detailed and communication was great. Every little detail was considered and provided. Just pack your bags, grab some groceries and don't worry about a thing. Even though we were there in early June and water level can be high, there is plenty of sandy area to easily get into and launch all of the provided water toys and to wade in the water with soft sand beneath your feet. This property is perfect for all ages including little ones and older adults. The lake is just footsteps from the 3 season room and the dock is very nice. The fire pit area was a favorite as well as the pontoon. Lake views from inside the cabin were very nice/relaxing. Also, Billy Bob's has amazing fried chicken.

Awesome place would definitely recommend

We stayed over memorial weekend and had a blast. Weather was so/so but we made the best of it. Location was awesome, hosts were exceptional and checked in on us frequently to see how are stay was going. House was well stocked which we were very much impressed with; toiletries, silverware, plates, first aid kits. Had nice fire pit area, stocked wood for us, had indoor games for family, tv had satellite/cable for cold nights, kayaks, canoe and foam pad/ mat for kids to play on plus fishing from dock where they caught fish and had an awesome time. Thank you to our wonderful hosts-we would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone you will definitely be pleased with staying here!

Fall getaway

We brought our 91 yo mom on a fall getaway. We all enjoyed watching the lake and treeline change throughout each day depending on the sunlight. We cooked all of our dinners in the kitchen which had everything we needed. We played board games at night on the big table. Two of us went kayaking which was fun & easy to launch from & return on the sandy beach. The location was convenient for daytrips to Phillips and Timms Hill. It was also awesome that our small dog could join us. We had a great stay and would like to return during warmer weather with our bicycles.

Lake house Family Get away

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The house had everything we could hope for to prepare meals throughout the week, and the amount of water equipment available to use was amazing (4 kayaks, canoe, paddle board, small fishing motor boat, pontoon, and multiple sizes of life jackets for everyone). Just a short drive to Tomahawk for groceries, shopping, hiking, and nearby bike paths really made the location perfect, not to mention being right on the lake with a small area of sand for the kids to play. The hosts were extremely responsive and easy to contact. We couldn't have been happier! Easily a 5 star review, and we would love to return!

Do not hesitate to book this property! The home itself is wonderful- clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Fully furnished with anything you may need and more. Owners are friendly, generous and quick to respond. You can tell they take pride in providing you with a great vacation. Plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog. We stayed on the property our entire stay. Enjoyed cooking in the amazing kitchen and on the grill/blackstone, fishing off the dock, relaxing on the beach, swimming in the clean lake, renting the pontoon boat, and eating s’mores at the fire pit each evening. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough. Hands down the best Vrbo experience we’ve ever had. Will definitely be back in the future!

Perfect get away

The hosts were great! Very helpful, informative, and friendly! The house was better than the pictures and fully stocked with all your daily needs! The house was comfortable, clean, and big. We really enjoyed sitting outside at the fire pit and in the sun room in the mornings and at night. We rented the pontoon and spent a day on the lake. We swam every day as the lake had a sandy bottom, was clean, and very enjoyable! This was a gem of a rental and we will definitely be back!

Our stay was awesome all around and the kids loved it. The house was spotless and so well stocked with everything we needed. We’ve stayed in WI cabins for a long time and this is by far the best. The sandy beach was perfect for the kids to walk out and swim and the water was really nice and warm. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful week

We were so happy to find this beautiful home. We stayed with my father (86) and my daughter (1.5) and all had an easy time getting around and enjoyed the amenities! I especially appreciated the sand around the pier as this was my daughter's first time in a lake swimming.

We live 50 miles away in Wausau. Christin’s family has had a place on Nokomis since the 50’s. I grew up with a boat on the Mississippi, so when this little slice of heaven opened up we jumped at it!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We love being on Nokomis on the quiet side. The flat lot is much easier than all the steps.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

50’ from the water’s edge on a flat private lot.

The current flows around our dock and makes it deep while leaving a great flat beach area for volleyball or small kids.
