Welcome to Hummingbird Haven- A new lakefront home with amazing sunset views

Step out onto the large deck and overlook paradise. Spacious home with all the amenities. Grab a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the hummingbirds or perhaps spot an Eagle soaring. Have a glass of wine in the evening and relax watching the sunset. Feel free to utilize the kayaks and paddle boards. Relax on the water on the Lilly Pad. Restricted to 14 people max including children, no exceptions. Please note, our mailbox is in front of the neighbors house. We are the blue/grey house

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property! The house was clean, had all we needed, a perfect view of the lake, and an excellent deck for having all kinds of fun. The owner was responsive and very easy to work with for the entire process. We would love to stay at this property again in the future.

This property is a little slice of paradise! The deck looks out on a beautiful lake. The living spaces were spacious and the beds were comfortable.We will definitely come back!

Great view

House was immaculate and plenty of comfortable beds for a guys trip. Great view off back deck. Will stay here when we’re in town next time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The lake views were beautiful. There were plenty of bedrooms/beds and the kids enjoyed playing in the basement.

Very Beautiful location but has lots of stairs going down to the water so would not recommend for people with bad knees,etc. House was well laid out. Although a bit dusty was otherwise clean enough

Relaxing Family Getaway

Spacious house, lovely views of lake and sunset, relaxing top porch --only thing we wished was different was that the outdoor firepit would be closer to the house... we immensely enjoyed our time together as a family!!!

Beauty, peace, and fantastic accommodations

Our family had a mini-reunion here. We meet once a year and opted for a lake experience this year. Erica was accommodating and gracious as a host. She was quick to communicate if I had a question. This lake house has plenty of room for you and your family with many amenities considered and available. The dock was great and handy to use. Thanks again for sharing your little slice of heaven.

Family vacation boating style

The house was very accommodating to all of our needs. Love the extra amenities to be used on the lake, which were kayaks and paddle boards. I would not hesitate to rent this house again.

Beautiful House - Great Location on the lake!

A group of us stayed here for a few days while fishing the lake. Beautiful large house, with lots of beds and space for our whole group. Great location on the lake with dock space for our fishing boats. Communication with the host was excellent!

75th Birthday Vacation

Our stay was my gift to my husband for his 75th birthday. We shared our visit with some of his siblings. It was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The property was just beautiful, especially the sunset every evening. The accommodations were perfect! Will definitely consider for another visit!

Beautiful Home on Lake of Egypt

Had a great stay for the weekend! Weather did not cooperate so we were unable to enjoy the lake or outdoor amenities. However, the spacious, updated and clean home provided the perfect setting for a weekend of games, watching college football, visiting and relaxing.

Christmas in Southern Illinois

It is a beautiful home with plenty of space for our extended family to spread out with common anreas on 2 floors and enjoy our visit. Great views of the lake. We enjoyed the games at the house as well as some we brought along.

The lake house is absolutely perfect—ideal for hosting a big family, beautifully designed, and incredibly spacious. The view is outstanding and the owners have excellent communication. So generous with towels and laundry on site. Everything is new! Go Hawkeyes!!!

Beautiful lake house!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was even nicer in person. The kids loved swimming off the dock and playing on the lily pad float! The house layout was great for having a large group (we had the basement, another family had the top floor, and another family had the main floor bedrooms). The host was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Overall it was a great stay and we would do it again.

Relax and enjoy

Loved this house on the water! Great views, swimming and noodling from the dock and convenient location to water sports. This house has everything! 3 floors for a big family and outside decks for morning relaxation. Just be careful of the stairs down to the dock. They’re a little tricky and there are no hand rails for us old folks.
