Private Lake/Sport Clay Range 30 Min to GSO, VIR, Martinsville 10 min Danville

Do you love the outdoors and outdoor recreation? This retreat is set on a sporting clay range/3D archery range, overlooking a private lake. Enjoy the fishing or riding on the paddle boat!
There is a lovely screened porch overlooking the lake, and a side porch for sitting.
It does not come without activity and noise. If you are a sportsman/sportswoman, then this place is for you.
There is a fireplace for cozy evenings with a glass of wine!
Washer and dryer are on site and everything you need for a stay. New Spectrum wifi.. but why stay in and stream when you can fish and shoot clays! Our Sporting clays are 14 stations (depending on time) and a five stand. Its nestled in the woods with a variety of open and wooded stations. You may check our FB or web by looking for Cosner Reserve Sporting Clays Pelham. You may bring your own or we rent SGuns.

The Danville Casino (Ceasars) is just 10 minutes away for extra enjoyment. Virginia International Raceway and Martinsville (Nascar) are 30 minutes East and West.

I was town for a wedding and the cabin was not only convenient but also very welcoming and cozy. Lori was great to communicate with and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Definitely would want to come back!

Casual, comfortable place to stay with beautiful natural setting. Beds were comfortable! Owner was friendly and helpful. The guys were excited about the activities offered (clay range and 3D archery) but because we were there for a wedding they didn’t have time to experience those opportunities. They want to go back just to enjoy a few days to hang out!

Cozy place with a great view and accommodations.

Enjoyed this place. The place is very spacious, clean and enjoyable. Patio is a charm. You can sit outside have a cup of coffee or some wine. The place also has trap shooting, which is cool! Great area to walk around. Property manager very responsive. If you have a destination to go to, just add extra 5 to 10 minutes, directions can be tricky.

Wonderful Wooded Retreat

We stayed here for work, and had a wonderful experience. There’s 2 covered grills for cooking options, along with a large enclosed porch overlooking the lake. Lori was amazing with quick responses and even left us farm fresh eggs! We also enjoyed shooting sporting clays, they were very accommodating with us and made us feel welcome. Would stay again!

Lovely and Peaceful

Lovely property, great host. Property is exactly as described- I think house is actually larger than appears online. We spent a lot of time in the screened in patio which had fans and an awesome view.

Cute cabin on a peaceful lake. Hugh screened porch facing the lake. This is a shooting range venue, but it did not bother us since it was mostly in the distance.

A Hidden Gem!

I will never be able to put into words how amazing our stay was. This place is immaculate and Lori is amazing. I can’t thank her enough for the gift she gave me family this Christmas. A place that felt like home for us to celebrate together. She’s kind, thoughtful, and a great host. My dad has said this is where he will stay everytime he is in town visiting. As I get older time becomes more precious and gifts aren’t as important as spending time together. This was the best stay we’ve had using VRBO yet. The pictures do not so it justice. We will be back. Thank you so much Lori it means everything to us.

This property Was created in the memory of my brother, Lance Corporal David L Cosner who lost his life in Beirut Lebanon, October 23, 1983 while serving in the US Marine Corps.

When you drive onto the property you feel like you have found a hidden gem. It is remote, but close to towns.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The lake and sporting clay range make this a destination property! Horseback riding (Shady Creek Farm) is a mile up the road! There are several wineries within 30 minutes to one and 1/2 our drive.
Caesars Casino-(12 min)
Virginia International Raceway is a great family venture. Wet and Wild Waterpark is 35 minute drive. Asheboro Zoo is 55 minutes.
Wedding Venues-Oakhaven (5 min) and Carriage Hill Farms (15 min) Belmont Mansion, Reidsville (20 min) Atkinson Farms, Danville(30 min) are close by!
