Situated in the majestic North Woods of Wisconsin, The Lodge On Lewis Lake is a uniquely private and multifaceted resort destination designed with its tranquil grounds and private lake. Two full-length docks (one with seating), floating swim platform with two built-in seats and table, 2 kayaks, rowboat w/ electric motor, canoe, 2 paddleboards, many floats – all to maximize your time and enjoyment on the Lake!

ABOUT THE LAKE
The private boat launch allows you to bring your ‘fishing’ boat up to 20 feet in length. We’ve invested in an aerator with eight (8) attached diffusors/surface floats — which prohibits the use of any high-speed water craft. We are proud to say that the lake has become a rich resource for a population of large mouth bass, blue gills, crappies and walleyes. The narrow channel between the lower and upper lake, as well as the diffusors/floats makes the lake conducive for fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. but NOT skiing or for jet-skis.

REST ASSURED
You also have access to a public lake! Summit Lake is located just 2.7 miles away. It is a large 279-acre lake that can handle boats, jet skis and other watercraft. Summit Lake also includes a beach and park.

ON LAND
On land, you can play basketball, volleyball, badminton, croquet, ping-pong, darts and bags. Your dream-escape also includes plenty of activities in the surrounding area, such as – State/County parks with hiking and biking trails, local beaches and water sports, premier golf course (Bass Lake Country Club) just a few miles away, horseback riding, shopping and much more!

THE LOVE OF THE OUTDOORS
Our love of nature motivated us to create a rustic outdoor oasis. With the covered outdoor kitchen area and open living space built along the lake, sandy beach area and expansive dock, our vision is for family and guests to be near the water as much as possible. The covered outdoor kitchen and counter area allows for grilling and enjoying being near the lake while still being protected from the outdoor elements -sun/rain. You will feel compelled to spend endless hours outdoors. The newly installed six-seater hot tub and outdoor living space under the rain proof deck provides even more opportunity for all to enjoy the grounds of this truly special property. We like to say that even on warm rainy days, there are more places to sit outdoors and enjoy games, conversations and/or the quiet secluded beauty of nature than time allows.

INDOORS
You will enjoy seven (7) bedrooms in total...5 in The Lodge, 2 in The Little Lodge, 19 total beds and 5 1/2 bathrooms. The theme of our sophisticated ‘rustic’ ambiance is carried throughout the home with hickory wood walls and floors, custom-made hickory cabinets, tables and poplar hand-crafted doors, custom maple 3-tiered bunkbeds, carved-wooden art, granite surfaces, taxidermy and wall art.

The Master bedroom and personally designed custom-made bunkroom are located on the main level of The Lodge. The Master includes a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The bunkroom includes two full and four single beds –plenty for cousins to make a lifetime of memories together. The bunk-room mattresses are adult-size in the event added adult bedspace is needed.

The lower level of the Lodge includes two king bedrooms and one queen bedroom with single bunkbed. All bedrooms include large closets for added storage. The two king rooms face the water, each with sliding doors to access a semi-private patio. In between the 2 patios is what we call the common outdoor living space for all to enjoy. Two full bathrooms with walk in showers provides the space and convenience for all guests to get ready for their day. The lower level also includes a spacious family room with bar area and large 78" HDTV.

The main level with its grand high-vaulted Great Room, library loft, kitchen and intimate dining room, creates the heart of our home. This will be your central station to gather and cook meals together, build intimate fires in our two-story stone fireplace, join in some socializing either by watching a program, play games at the game table, enjoy a cocktail at the bar or simply enjoy a comfortable seat at our massive custom kitchen island. Your time together and intimate alone time will draw you to all corners of this property both inside and outdoors. There’s an additional half bath on the main floor and gym.

Did I mention a gym? Start your morning keeping fit and healthy with our custom-designed gym located on the main level. With its professional squat rack, free weights, cable machine and cushioned floor, you will be sure to balance out your vacation by keeping your fitness goals in mind. During your workout, you will be surrounded by the beauty of the outdoor scenery and sometimes being greeted by wildlife such as deer, wild-turkeys, eagles and more. After your workout, enjoy the under-cover hot tub or jump in the lake – literally! 

The spacious kitchen features custom-built cabinetry, with self-close sliding drawers and doors, a very large granite kitchen island, high-end appliances including a gas range with hand-built pot and pan rack above, double oven, large refrigerator with icemaker, a Cuisinart drip coffeemaker, microwave, Wolf blender and much more -- all the appliances and counter space needed to create memories in the kitchen to last a lifetime. The kitchen/dining area was designed with an open granite counter top that acts as a buffet style serving area for convenience and easy clean-up following a large meal together! Imagine taco or fajita night, a fish dinner with bass, crappies, and blue gills just caught and prepped within hours of catching them in your very own 25-acre private lake. The custom-made dining table can accommodate 10-12 or more, with added seating (5 stools) at the kitchen island. The close proximity of our dining allows everyone to feel included. But there’s more!! On the nicest of days, enjoy grilling and dining in our outdoor living area where you can be close to the water and cherish the openness of the lake property.
