Retraite de Pavek's Post Lake

Pavek's Post Lake Retreat a été récemment rénové au printemps 2018. Le remodelage inclut toutes les nouvelles cuisines, salles de bain et rez-de-chaussée. La chambre principale comprend un lit king size, une salle de bain complète et des portes-fenêtres qui s'ouvrent sur la grande terrasse face au lac. La plate-forme peut accueillir 6 personnes autour d'une grande table et dispose également de plusieurs bancs de chaises longues. La propriété a plus de 200 pieds de façade sur le lac, plus de 60 pieds de plage de sable et un quai pouvant accueillir facilement 2 grands bateaux. Il y a également plusieurs bancs et une chaise géante en adirondeck, idéale pour prendre des photos, se détendre et regarder les enfants jouer dans l'eau. Il y a aussi un grand foyer pouvant accueillir 10 personnes pour faire griller des guimauves et raconter des histoires. La propriété dispose d'une grande allée pavée pouvant facilement équiper plusieurs véhicules avec remorques. Si vous avez un VTT ou une motoneige, vous pouvez accéder au sentier directement de l'autre côté de la route.

Wonderful!

This was a wonderful setting for our family get together! Five of us (grandparents, great aunts and a cousin) stayed in the house while my niece's small family from Rhinelander visited us during the day. We rented a pontoon, perfect for everyone especially the seniors. The paddle boat and kayaks were a real plus. And one year old Zayden enjoyed playing with some of the toys that were available. The living room was perfect for sitting and talking in the evening. All the relatives complimented me for renting such a great place!

Couldn’t have been better

We had a wonderful weekend! Property is a great place and space to enjoy. Home itself has lot of room and common spaces spacious for being together. Outside deck, fire pit, pier and sand area allowed for lots of options to keep kids busy. Lots of toys and water toys for the kids to ply with. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat. It’s in a quiet bay between upper and lower and in close proximity to Wolffs River Inn. Owner is very responsive, kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The owner was fast to respond to any questions we had before our stay. Owner showed us around when we got there. Beds were comfortable, house was clean. Two bedrooms upstairs with queen beds, a large open area in the partial finished basement with a double or it could have been a queen and a twin bed. With having kids sleep in the basement, was a little worried the basement stairs were right next to the entrance door. The only problem we had was the water. There was a somewhat sandy beach area, but once going in the water it was mucky and you sink pass your ankles. The kids didn't mind, but us adults didn't go in. Not much the owners can do about that, but now we know what to ask when staying at any other place.

Amazing Family Vacation Home

Let me just say, this vacation spot from top to bottom is amazing. The owners are fantastic people and their communication is second to none. Great place

We had a very nice time at Pavek’s❤️We really enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddleboat. They had a lot of toys for the grandbabies. The gathering space in the house was really nice. Seating for everyone. Had a storm and power outage one night and day, but made the best of it. Caught lotta little fish off the pier which the kids loved, even caught two painted turtles! Nice walks. Thank you Tammy and Travis for sharing your home with us.

Delightful Surprise.

If you’re looking for an out of the way place, this one is great. Walk right out the back to the lake. Very peaceful and the water is calm. The area is quiet and everything is so neat. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave. To the owners, thanks for sharing a wonderful place.

end of summer vacation!

Very impressed with the cottage! It was very clean, large enough for our family of seven, including 2 young children, we all had our privacy. The cottage is supplied with everything we needed, the washer and dryer is a big plus! The outdoor deck, the yard, firepit, beach area, and the dock for our boat were all perfect. The fishing was great too! The owners are very nice and attentive to our needs during the week. We will come again.

This property is just as it is listed. The lake is fantastic, the deck was large and wonderful all day long. We kayaked for miles, had warm cozy fires and most of all enjoyed family time together!! Tammy went out of her way to help us with a package delivery and answered all of our questions very quickly. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Relaxing

Beautiful open concept cabin makes this a great place for entertaining family. Awesome deck overlooking the water and great fire pit for evening bonfires. Multiple water activities provided with kayaks, paddle boat, and raft to swim to. Quick response from owners with any questions we had.

Amazing Gem on Great location

This place is the most amazing place! The location is probably next to impossible to match, the owners are incredibly helpful, kind, and hospitable. They accommodated all our requests and then some. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every bit. Post lake has a lower section and upper section, with a canal in between. There is a huge section in between that is perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, etc.. The cabin is smack dab in the middle of that cove and it’s absolutely perfect. It’s no wake right next to it, so the kids are safe to swim, there is a nice beach, and the list goes on. Thank you Travis and Tammy! We will surely be back!

we truly loved this place

Great place ! Beautiful deck for plenty of people and so close to lake and restaurants. Good for people who might have physical maneuverability outside, not too steep of decline to docks etc. Only thing we would have appreciated a walk thru in the house to know how somethings worked. But owners were available thru texts etc.

Great place!

We had a great week at the Pavek’s Post Lake house! The house has plenty of room. Huge family room. The 2 large lakes were great. Owners were very helpful. We loved the private yard, nice fire pit area and walking distance to 2 restaurants.

Wonderful experience despite power outages and recent storm devastation to area,

We had a great time at Pavek's lake home. The sleeping accommodations, large deck, and huge fire pit area were perfect for our family reunion. The little grandkids loved the sandy beach area, and older kiddos truly enjoyed the raft to swim out to. The 5 kayaks, life jackets, and sand toys were an added bonus that we enjoyed all weekend! Tammy and family were so very accommodating in the face of their own property damage from devastating storms that week. They were great communicating status of the power and property prior to our check in. There was a new 24- hour power outage the evening we checked in, but owners were quick to connect generators for us to keep stocked refrigerator running and power strips to plug in cell phones for flashlights. It was quite an adventure, but I grew up using outhouses when visiting Post Lake so it was a good learning experience for the grandkids! Owners also offered their lawn space for additional family members of ours to tent camp after their reservations were canceled at local campgrounds due to storm damage and power outages. Tammy then visits us the next day with a room key to Mole Lake Casino so we could get away to shower and get a break from our "primitive " conditions! They did everything they could and more to ensure a great stay for us, their family was wonderful to work with, and we hope to return in the future. Our local family members that stopped by to visit us also commented on the ample parking and great accommodations. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Excellent northwoods retreat!

5 of us for 5 nights of fishing and northwoods recharge. Property, owners, lake were all excellent! Had everything we needed and hosts were super accommodating! Definitely will be back! Thanks for sharing Paveks!
