Located just a short 5 minute walk to the many restaurants and shops of the village of Point Loma, a 10 minute walk to the family friendly local beach "La Playa', and a short drive to Shelter Island, this recently remodeled five bedroom home is the perfect option for families or groups.
Enjoy the year round San Diego sunshine in the fenced in, secure backyard featuring a large private pool, hot tub and gas grill to enjoy along with outdoor living and dining.
Inside enjoy the open kitchen, dine together at the large dining table and afterwards relax in the living room to stream your favorite movies. The home features five bedrooms, two full sized bathrooms and two half baths.
Master bedroom has a King size bed, 65 inch TV and full ensuite bathroom with full size shower and tub. Bedroom One has a Queen size bed and 55 inch TV and is located off of the Dining Room. Bedroom Two has a King size bed, 55 inch TV and en suite half bathroom. Bedroom Two will share full size Bathroom in hallway with a full size shower and tub. Bedroom Three has a King size bed, 55 inch TV and en suite half bathroom. Bedroom Three will also share full size Bathroom in hallway with a full size shower and tub. Bedroom Four has a a Queen size bed and 55 inch TV. Bedroom Four will also share full size Bathroom in hallway with a full size shower and tub.
This home is located close to La Playa Beach-Point Loma's wonderful hidden beach. La Playa bay front beach is perfect for families and relaxing, the cozy beach is well protected from waves and wind and the perfect place to relax with families and children of every age. You will enjoy views of Downtown San Diego and can watch yachts and sailboats cruise by.
Enjoy all that Point Loma has to offer when you are a short drive to all. Cabrillo National Monument, a park with trails, tide pools and exhibits on California history.
Sunset Cliffs National Park is a popular spot to watch the sun go down.
Liberty Station, a former Naval Training Center, complete with buzzy restaurants, shops and a movie theater.
The Loma Club, a historic San Diego Golf Course, is a nine hole walking golf course, live music venue and social club is also located in Liberty Station and just a short drive.

This property is in a really great location and a walkable distance to the Point Loma village. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space to chill out back. We vacationed in February and we unable to use the pool because the sunlight didn’t really hit the pool to warm it up. That’s fine, and what we expected.

Kitchen had most basic utensils you'll need to cook. We did miss a few less-common items, such as a grater.But for most needs, it has everything you'll want.Bedrooms are very inviting and comfortable.Nice dining room and living room for a small group.The street is a bit busy, but you're just a few steps away from pleasant quieter streets and the path along the nearby waterfront. Very quick and easy access to the airport.

Stay was overall good. Really spacious property. Enough beds, bedrooms & bathrooms for everyone to have their privacy & own space. My only complaint is to expect heat / stale air when you arrive as no ac & windows were closed, but after that the temperature was very nice! Same with the smell of the home / fridge - it had a stale smell upon entering but once we aired it out, we had an absolutely wonderful stay! Patio furniture was also a bit dirty, but we were able to use the hose to clean it off when we got there & use it through the weekend. Overall, very minor issues upon entering & the place & host were great to us all weekend! Just writing our “complaints” so other guests go into their stay with these expectations! But again, overall amazing location, spacious house, enjoyable pool. We’ll likely rebook!

Point Loma is a wonderful place to vacation. But this house was a bit disappointing. Although very clean it was lacking essential items for a family. There were no closets (tiny armoires only). No shelves or hooks in 4 of the bedrooms and none in bathroom. No pantry or anywhere to store food in kitchen. Large TVs in all the rooms worked great and the beds were comfortable, but the furniture was well used.No laundry facility as the single washer/dryer combo in the backyard was not usable as there was no dial. All the other appliances were fine. It is close to the bay and many restaurants and a short drive to San Diego.

Great for Family Vacation

The house set up was perfect for our 7 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of space inside and the backyard was so peaceful. Lots to walk to and everything is an easy drive. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for family vacation

Great location. Point Loma easy to walk and Not crowded. house large. Very clean. Had everything we needed in kitchen. Pool, hot tub and yard a real bonus. 6 multigenerational family very comfortable. Host extremely responsive. Had trouble with hot tub when we arrived and within hours it was serviced. Great gelato shop easy walk. Short drive to San Diego attractions.

San Diego getaway

The property is located within 5-15 minutes of most locations; SeaWorld, ocean beaches, marinas, restaurants and grocery store. The 5 bedrooms fit our group of 12 perfectly. The beds are comfortable and on the soft side. The interior has been nicely updated and is supplied with most everything you would need in the kitchen. The backyard and pool were perfect for the kids after a day on the go.The owner is easy and quick to communicate with. Overall it was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in San Diego.

Wonderful family home with all the amenities! Perfect for all 9 of us. Honestly, the king bed in the master suite, was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!!! We are currently purchasing one. Great location to shops, restaurants and beaches.

Great location

The rental was walkable to several restaurants and businesses. We had an issue with a shower draining but the owner had it resolved quickly during our stay. The front lock didn't work for us but we were able to enter through the rear locked door. Overall great stay!!

Beautiful neighborhood

The house was perfect for us! We had 7 adults and one 7-yr old stay as a family for a birthday vacation for my mom’s 60th. The house was clean, we did a quick cold plunge in the pool and sat in the hot tub. I can’t emphasize how cute the neighborhood was. There’s a dirt road around the corner that took us to Portside coffee by the yachts/boats. We loved it!

Great group accommodations

We stayed at the property for a company fishing trip weekend and it worked out great! My husband gathered his 3 managers and their spouses for a weekend of off-shore fishing and to enjoy the warm climate in November. This property’s location was ideal for being close to two charter fishing landings, steps from the shops and a nice bay-front walking trail, and a quick drive to Ocean Beach. The back yard was a great place to relax in the sun and enjoy the hot tub. The kitchen was more well equipped then most rentals and made it easy to cook up our fresh catch and enjoy group meals.
