Live like a local from this quaint bungalow in the heart of Point Loma. Designed for comfort and privacy, this home features three well appointed bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a full kitchen. The private backyard is the perfect retreat for dining al fresco, or soaking the rays in on a perfect San Diego day. Step outside the front door and you'll be just steps away from great local restaurants, cafe's, & coffee shops - making this home the perfect launch pad for any San Diego adventure.
Every Coast to Cactus home comes stocked with all the basics you will need to feel right at home. We provide: High speed Wifi, Smart TV's with streaming capabilities, nicely appointed kitchens, complimentary coffee, bath essentials, and premium sheets, linens and towels. You'll also find a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent.

Kitchen For those who like to cook, the kitchen has modern appliances including: dishwasher, fridge, blender, stove top, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils.

Larger vehicles may park for free on the street which is usually readily available. - High speed WIFI perfect for remote working - Washer/Dryer: Washer and Dryer are available. 1. Rental Agreement & Guest Screening: By moving forward with this reservation, a rental agreement must be signed by the primary guest. You give permission to the property manager to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm the reservation. Verification requires uploading a valid ID, Drivers License, or Passport, along with a self photo of the primary reservation holder. Confirmed reservations are conditional and may be cancelled pending verification results. 2. Check-in is at 4 pm. Check-out time is any time before 11 am. You're welcome to request an early check in or late checkout, subject to availability. We are unable to confirm availability until 24 hours prior to arrival or departure. 3. Parties, events, or excessive noise are not allowed. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 9PM-9AM. Violations after our initial warning may result in your removal from the property. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a vacation destination, it's home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and peaceful environment. 4. We do not allow smoking of any kind anywhere on the premises; including the use of e-cigarettes and marijuana. Those found in violation will incur a $250 cleaning fee. 5. Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises, unless with written permission from your host. 6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events. 7. We understand accidents happen, so if there is any accidental or intentional damage caused to the home, please let us know prior to your departure. 8. This property may have video surveillance in outdoor public spaces to ensure the safety and security of all guests. There are no cameras inside the home. Noise meters may also be present in and around the property to ensure quiet hours are followed. We will only receive a notification of a noise event if the noise decibel threshold is exceeded. Please try to keep the fun at a respectful decibel level during the day, but at night we ask for no loud noises after 9 pm — if this sounds like something that will not work for your group, our property might not be the right one for you. 9. Guests are prohibited from carrying or otherwise possessing a firearm at any time on property grounds, including carrying firearms in an open or concealed manner. This policy applies to all types of firearms. 10. Occupancy is limited to the number of guests you indicate on your reservation. Any additional guests or visitors must be approved by your host. 11. Any items left behind can be sent back for a handling fee of $25 plus the cost to ship and must be prepared before the item will be sent. 12. Have fun, and please respect the home and host!

This was a great place to do all things San Diego. We hiked at Point Loma, swam at the beach, and easily commuted to all the places we needed to go. The property provides a great space for preparing meals, relaxing in between events and great rest.

The house was nice, clean and an easy base for exploring San Diego. Quiet for sleeping despite the busy street. Backing out of the driveway into traffic was stressful. Size and brightness of the home was lovely and we enjoyed using the back yard. The pots and pans were very worn and the manager sent over new ones. I would recommend they get new cutting boards and baking sheets as they were in pore condition. Also some of the window cranks are pulling away from the window frame. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great experience
Property was great, nice and quiet, place was clean. Easy walk to Shelter Island, cafes, and some family friendly restaurants. We enjoyed the small backyard, and beds were comfortable.

Great place!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. House is very clean and in a great, neighborhood location with just about all you need within walking distance. It’s perfect for families or friend groups who travel together. Large common areas, kitchen and backyard with patio make it perfect place to hang out or cook dinner in when not out and about in this cool area.

Wonderful location and house
Super location close to Pt Loma dining and running trail that goes along the marina to Harbor drive. Clean and spacious house with everything we needed. Ample parking and the steep driveway were not a problem. We hope to stay again!

Perfect location
We are a family of 6 and fit wonderfully in this home. It had everything we needed. It was so clean and well taken care of. We would happily come back. Point Loma is really a great location if you want to explore San Diego.

Graduation Visit
Great vacation home with easy access to the marina. The only issue was the broken dish washer, but the property manager was very responsive. It was also easy for my elderly mom to walk around and enjoy herself. Highly recommend this vacation home for a family.

Nice Stay
We chose this location due to its location close to SDYC where my child was sailing in an event. Home had all the things we needed. Beds and pillows were comfy and home was clean. It’s a little noisy during rush hour times with cars going up Rosecrans but not really an issue since bedrooms are set back. Plenty of fans to help keep the home cool.

La Playa Bungalow
Property management company, Coast Cactus, was gracious and answered questions even before we booked. Once we booked, they were supportive and provided helpful details about the property and the check in process. There were very clear instructions for the check in process, the lock code, and more. We didn't have any issues with anything on any part of the property. The house was perfect for my husband and myself, and our 22 year old twins. We celebrated their birthdays and Coast Cactus provided welcome suggestions of where to go for sweet treats, instead of the traditional birthday cake. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed as far as cooking was concerned. They even checked in with us after our first night, to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. My family and I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location and large bedrooms
Booked for our family with two young kids (2.5, 1) for long weekend.
Pros: great location within easy drive from the airport. Our destinations were the zoo and the aquarium and both were very easy to access. Point Loma is beautiful and Shelter island is great for kids (playground! Food!) The house had a well supplied kitchen for cooking. Bedrooms were large, and living room had comfortable couches for lounging. Backyard dining table was lovely.
Cons: driveway is steep and narrow and you must back in, unless you want to back out onto a busy road. Street parking is tough because there is no spot directly in front of the house because of a blind turn. House has one tall, unsecured bookshelf that a baby or toddler can easily topple. Backyard grass is patchy and not great for crawlers.
Overall the location is very convenient and the house is spacious. Management company provided basic coffee supplies which is always a nice to have!

Great location, clean beds, dirty floors
Overall we really enjoyed our time at this property and the location was fantastic (safe and less than 20 minutes to almost everything, if not closer). We had our 1.5 year old with us and the house was perfect for him with a little backyard and walking distance to the water where he could look at the boats. The beds/sheets/towels were very clean, but I gave this property 3 stars overall because the floors were terribly dirty. Our toddler's feet were black after running around and we all ended up having to wear socks when walking around the house, which were also black by the end of the trip. I brought this up to the property management company and even asked for a refund for our cleaning fee, but all I got was "sorry, we'll let the owners know," which was a little disappointing. Overall though, this house was great and we had a wonderful time visiting San Diego.

My favorite spot in San Diego
Our family rented this property to accommodate our need for a quiet, peaceful space during the holidays with young kids. It was so great we ended up extending our stay. The location is classic San Diego with access to great seafood, gorgeous sunsets and walks along the cliffs. We like the central location that made it easy to dine out or pick up groceries. The decor is elegant and comfortable. It’s a winner!

Lovely and close to so much
Clean, comfortable, beautiful location. We parked three mid size cars in the driveway and there was street parking available as well. The main has two sinks which was convenient. Backyard was darling. Host was communicative. Would stay again.
