Studio sur péniche comprenant un lit queen size, des lits superposés, un canapé-lit et une salle de bain complète. Service de navette en bateau offert gratuitement par les hôtes à leurs voyageurs. Barbecue, cuisinière, réfrigérateur et tout le nécessaire à votre disposition. Lovely and quirky houseboat! Such fun to feel the very subtle rocking of said boat, watch the tides and see all the wildlife right near our dock: heron and river otters. Would love to stay here again. Thanks Pearl and Joel for your assistance, ferrying us back and forth and good conversations.!

We loved our stay at the float house. With evenings in town being quiet, we enjoyed the chance to cook and enjoy the amazing views from the deck. Communication at times was inconsistent but when we could not contact one host the other was very quick to help and respond. The beds were extremely comfortable and we felt welcome, instructions were clear regarding the house and expectations. The trips back and forth were well navigated and Joel was extremely friendly and willing to answer all questions we had. As many have commented, the fishing hole in the house was fun to watch through and the sunsets were truly the best we’ve seen. Thanks so much for a great stay!

A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts and team at Strawberry island for an amazing and unique two nights in tofino. The houseboat was so charming and homey, the pet friendly location made bringing along our dog so easy, and the porthole in the living room floor opportunity to crab from our doorstep was unforgettable.

It was an incredible experience to stay on the water with unbelievable views! The cabin’s cosy feel was a perfect way to end our day of exploring tofino. The 4 min boat ride to and from the main land was a wonder on it’s own, with the most spectacular landscape.

The boat is cozy and thoughtfully designed, and the beds are very comfortable\. The sunset views are beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay\.However, the accommodation listing is misleading in a few important ways\. It mentions a complimentary water taxi service, but it does not clearly state that only one trip per day is included\. Any additional trip costs 50 CAD, which came as an unpleasant surprise\. The listing also fails to mention that there is no WifiIn addition, the cooking facilities are very limited and poorly equipped, making it difficult to prepare meals

Great location in the harbour. We enjoyed watching the fishing boats and the float planes and sitting on the dock observing the marine life and sunsets. The property is really one big room. We were three adults and it suited us fine. I am not sure that it is as suitable for young children.Our host Pearl was great, ready to transport us when asked.

We recommend this stay to anyone visiting Tofino. It’s such a cozy experience. We’ve stayed twice and brought our dogs, who LOVE the boat ride to the dock. We’ll be back again for sure!

Recommend! Everything was exactly as stated and shown. Property was very clean, linens/towels were good quality bed was very comfortable.The property manager was so helpful and accommodating. Many opportunities for extra activities through the property manager.
