We had a great stay at the cabin and enjoyed all the amenities that it offered. The cabin offers great views of the mountains. It was calm and peaceful.

We loved our stay at the Barndo!! It was far enough away from the main roads to feel remote, but close enough to not be far away.

A Great Choice

My adult children, their significant others and I gathered for a day at the Red River Gorge. This property provided a clean, comfortable place with all of the amenities that we needed for our time together. We would stay here again.

Exceeds all your expectations

Communication with Daniel (host) was so easy, he was very helpful and thoughtful. We met the cleaner and handyman when they responded to the visitors at another rental, and they were great. They had left firewood at each rental, the grills had propane tanks full and ready to go. They had extra TP, PT, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent, dryer sheets, clean linens. They even had towels for the hot tub. Checkout was a breeze. The last mile of drive to the location is a very narrow road, but if you are very careful, it is possible to pass someone going the other direction. Just be careful. Enjoy. We had kids 5-16, parents, and grandparents, and all thoroughly enjoyed the home and the local activities. What a beautiful part of this country!

Beautiful home!

We planned our last-minute trip to the area, and the host was very helpful and super communicative in regards to the property and the check in. The home is well stocked, nicely decorated, clean and well-maintained. The family that stayed in the other half of this property, had children as well, so they all played ping-pong and games together while us adults sat by the fire and chatted, all in all a really great stay. I would highly recommend this property and this host for future rentals

Peaceful and relaxing weekend

This home was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend in the Kentucky mountains. The home was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, and very easy to check in and out. The hiking at the red River gorge was amazing and the people in Kentucky were so lovely!

Awesome place

Beautifully decorated Barndo. Teens loved the ping pong and foosball table. Firepit and hot tub were perfect after hiking. They even supplied backpacks and water bottle to use on hikes. Kitchen was well equipped. We had a great stay and would definitely go back to this place!

Weekend trip

This place was perfect for our family of 5! I usually don’t leave reviews but every detail was thought of at this property! Our teenagers were thrilled with the games, hot tub and the snacks left for us! We didn’t get to use the fire pit due to rain but it looked so inviting!

Didn't want to leave!!

After a long day of hiking, the hot tub felt amazing! Very spacious and beautifully decorated! Highly recommend!!
