The Host and Kevin were very welcoming. Kevin was very helpful and friendly. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Coffee bar was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. AC/Heating unit makes it easy to sleep. Our dogs loved the property.

The room was nice and clean. I liked that it was out of town. My only complaint was the person in the room next door was having a party of about 6 people outside listening to music and talking loudly at 3 am. We asked kindly to keep it down and they turned the music down but kept talking loudly right outside our door. Sadly we chose that location to avoid a loud atmosphere like town can be.

Nice clean unit. If you're using Google maps it will take you to the next property. The lake is dry but there is plenty of wildlife.

Wonderful little spot

Before choosing this place, I looked around at everything available in Bandera. Then I found the TinStar. Not liking crowds and enjoying relaxing in peace & quiet this place WAS PERFECT. I would take this lodging over any other I saw in the area if I ever come to Bandera again.

Clean and Quiet

Tin Star is a great place to stay. Very close to the center of Bandera. The unit is clean and well maintained. Actually purpose-built to be a rental. The area is very peaceful and quiet. Super dark at night, so lots of stars. My only nit is the unit could use more places for the traveler’s things. Zero horizontal surfaces available. Dresser completely filled with bedding. No hooks or available shelves in the bathroom. Otherwise awesome.
