The host responded promptly to communication. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were 6 adult men on a father/son trip. One queen bed was exceptionally comfortable, the other queen bed slanted toward the middle and was not comfortable for 2 adults and the pull out couch was the typical uncomfortable. The massage chair was great, the unit was overall spacious and met our needs.

Large bedrooms. Very quiet neighborhood and great location. I would suggest a toaster for the kitchen otherwise kitchen well equipped.Laundry was great. Loved the porch/deck.

The queen bed was absolutely horrible! We Rolled to the middle and it was just unacceptable!l We slept terribly! My husband had to move to the uncomfortable coach! No table or chairs to sit at or in! No shampoo in the bathroom. Horrible communication with the renter
had to talk to someone at the Melting pot initially who helped contact Devyn!

Really nice, clean and great location. A little short on silverware. We actually had to stay in the Gamer's Lounge. Need info for TV operation and how to work the freestanding game machine. Sent manager an e-mail requesting info but didn't hear back before we left. Decor cute. Short on silverware. Great location and very clean. Located over a glass blowing business--very interesting!

Got the job done

There are several items that need to be addressed at this property in regards to repairs/maintenance. Seems a prior guest has made an extensive list for the property management company, so I won't. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay, somewhere to lay your head at night after being out, this is a good option. I had an issue with the keypad upon arrival;however, the property management company was pleasant to deal with and resolve the issue quickly. 3.5 out of 5 stars at this price point.

Our initial impression of the Astronomer's Abode was that it was fun. The beds were comfortable and the location was good. However when I went to take a shower in the evening after a day of hiking, the shower door would not slide open. I contacted Devyn, he was unable to help until the next day after we checked out. I understand that someone could not come after hours, but it negatively affected our stay. Very disappointed

Great for star gazing

Not for gazing at the sky stars - cute apartment, nice porch with chair swings, enjoyed not having a tv. Close to everything, quiet, nice neighborhood for walks. Must climb steep stairs as located on second floor.

Good price worn property.

Property was clean. 1 bed had a broken box spring causing a sagging mattress but other bed was fine. The dryer had a tendency to auto-shut off mid cycle. Was still able to eventually dry clothes though. Owner did not respond to messages I sent through VRBO app. Overall good quality for the price.

Bad experience

Upon entering the apartment, there was an unpleasant odor that lingered throughout the space. The doors made noticeable creaking noises when opened or closed, which added to the discomfort.Kitchen: There were no cleaning supplies provided, and the available dishes were limited to very basic melamine plates and glasses.Bathroom: The shower glass door felt unstable and appeared to be poorly fitted. The toilet seat was broken, towels were limited, and there were no floor mats, which made it less comfortable and functional.Bedroom: The room felt quite stuffy and lacked proper ventilation. The beds were very small—unsuitable for a couple to sleep comfortably. Additionally, the wardrobes were filled with the owner's personal clothing.Host: The one positive aspect was the host’s understanding and support when we mistakenly checked out 30 minutes late, assuming the checkout time was 11:00 AM instead of 10:00 AM.

Great Place to Stay

I was unable to make the trip, however my family still attended. They were impressed with the apartment and enjoyed the fun astronomer’s theme. It was easy to locate, a great price for the area, comfortable, and close to Whole Foods Market, restaurants, etc. It’s definitely a Vrbo we will want to visit again!

Great location in heart of Sedona!

Simple place and perfect springboard for all Sedona has to offer. Wifi fast. Easy check-in and check-out.

Easy spot to enjoy Sedona

Everything was clean and we appreciated the washer/dryer and the massage chair. Beds were ok and kind of enjoyed not having a TV for distraction. Only two forks in the drawer so bring your own or buy some compostable ones if you have more than two people.

I’ve been waiting to do the review until I hear from Devyn. There were issues. Easy improvements could be made. (Fix the toilet paper holder) Update the second bedroom; maybe add somewhere to put a suitcase.
