Profitez de la paix et la tranquillité d'un lac de montagne tranquille, majestueux pins, couchers de soleil et un ciel de nuit sombres remplis de lumineuses, étoiles scintillantes. Notre cabine au bord du lac surplombe samedi Pond, un, eaux limpides du lac alimenté par une source qui est le foyer de plusieurs huards, des faucons, des grands hérons, des balbuzards pêcheurs et un aigle occasionnelle et l'orignal. Le lac est de 179 acres avec des profondeurs maximales d'environ 25 pieds et a la basse, la perche et le brochet dans ses eaux qui rend pour la grande pêche. Samedi étang est situé dans la ville de Otisfield, Maine à environ 35 miles au nord-ouest de Portland près de la région de Sebago Lakes.

Cette charmante cabane est soigné, propre, confortable et dispose d'un grand nombre de commodités de la maison. Avec un porche meublé avec des meubles en osier et une grande baie vitrée, l'habitacle offre des vues spectaculaires sur le lac et sa faune. Pendant la saison, cueillir des bleuets sur la porte d'entrée de votre cabine ou contempler les étoiles brillantes dans le ciel d'été sombres. La cabine dispose d'un espace commun qui abrite ses salons, cuisine et salle à manger. Le salon dispose d'un futon qui peut ouvrir à dormir personnes supplémentaires. Renseignez-vous sur notre autre cabine située à proximité - idéal pour une autre famille ou groupe d'amis. Votre propre composé privée sur le lac!

Parfait pour les beaux jours d'été remplis avec piscine, canoë, pêche (sur le quai ou dans l'une des criques du lac), lire un livre dans le hamac, soupers au homard, barbecues, et les guimauves de cuisine pour s'mores plus de la fosse d'incendie surplombant le lac. Pour un changement de décor, en route pour la côte du Maine pour la journée à nager dans l'une de ses nombreuses plages, ses phares et visiter des villes pittoresques. Ou, profitez des jours croustillants de l'automne, feuillage d'automne et une vue imprenable sur la montagne tout en visitant les nombreux magasins d'antiquités, les magasins de cadeaux, stands agricoles locales et les foires agricoles. Panier abonde que quarante-cinq minutes dans la zone Mount Washington de North Conway, New Hampshire ou sur la route une heure à Freeport, la maison de la boutique originale LL Bean et de nombreux points de vente de créateurs. Ou, visiter les nombreux magasins et restaurants aussi une heure de route dans le Port Vieux de change à Portland.

Anniversary getaway

The cabin is adorable, the pond serene, Ellen and Jim lovely, and the trip perfect! We really lucked out with the weather and we were able to enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking and exploring. We would love to come back!

We had the most relaxing and idyllic stay at this camp. Our 11 year old grandson was able to fish every day both from the dock, from his kyack, and from a canoe at the camp. He enjoyed every single minute and did not want to leave. Our old English Setter loved being by the water and watching the activity.

Beautiful and serene !

Upon arriving at the cabin, the view of Saturday pond was enough to convince us we found the right spot. The cabin was recently renovated on the inside and was very well appointed. When we met the property owner Ellen, she was extremely nice and generous. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and it's amenities. We plan to go back next summer and hopefully we can fit it into the busy rental schedule. Thank you Ellen!

Fabulous, immaculate, beautiful property!

The cabin is gorgeous, all wood, cathedral ceiling in the main area, newly re-done, immaculate and cozy! The property is gorgeous with waterfront views of a beautiful sunset each night. We loved relaxing by the fire pit and taking in the fresh air and nature. Our kids loved running around the yard, swinging in the hammock and dipping their toes in the water. The owners were so nice and accommodating, they introduced themselves and let us know how to reach them in case we needed anything. But we didn't need anything, because the house was already all set up for us. We would love to come back and visit again!

Unexpected Treat

Had a 10 month old reservation cancelled on us as we packed our car to head to a family wedding. Since we planned on taking our pups, we were frantic and with great fortune, stumbled across this listing. The owner replied to our request quickly and check in was smooth and welcoming. Photos of the property are helpful, but didn't depict how clean, comfortable and lovely the cottage and the exterior grounds really are. I've never experienced a rental so well stocked and with quality equipment and supplies. Cabin stayed warm and comfy, plenty of hot water and very good wifi and cable offerings. Owners were very pleasant and helpful, but were respectful of privacy and we barely were aware they were nearby at a neighboring home. All in all a wonderful stay with perfect weather that we'd love to repeat. Thank you!

Awesome get away

We were so delighted with our stay at this property. Ellen and Jim were gracious and inviting hosts. The accommodations were exceptional and the views were spectacular. Super clean and quiet!

Thank you Ellen, we had a great week. Your place is gem! Super clean, quiet and great decor. Nice quiet private area by the water and easy access for the kayak. Spent lots of time relaxing in the hammock and on the porch reading. You were very thoughtful lending us the vest with the handle for our elderly dog Tuco. Thank you!

A Favorite Place

We've lost count of how many times we've rented this cottage, starting years ago when our daughter was young. My husband and I still keep coming back to this peaceful place. The hosts are lovely people, and the cottage is clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. We appreciate the quiet and tranquility we find here, swimming and canoeing in the beautiful pond, and enjoying the wonderful sunset views.

quiet & relaxing

Thank you for a wonderful experience on Saturday Pond. The lake was perfect, seeing the loons and sunsets and enjoying the fishing. We loved the little cottage feel and how clean and comfortable everything was. The screened-in porch allowed us to read, do some puzzles and watch the storms on rainy days, too!

The week was wonderful. Kayaking, fishing and swimming were great. Great property!

We had a wonderful week. The weather was perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing. The porch was perfect for watching the one thunderstorm we had and was our go to spot for coffee, breakfast and listening to the birds in the morning. They supplied a large charcoal grill and all of the utensils. My one wish was for a gas grill. I would have grilled much more. Overall, 5 stars.

This was a lovely mini vacation for parents weekend. It afforded my daughter and her friends a place to get away from the college campus. It had everything we needed except maybe an extra blanket! Thanks Ellen and Jim. The kayaks were a definite plus.

Welcome to our beloved cabin! In 2002, my husband and I were looking to buy a small “get-away” cabin in the Sebago Lakes Region. My sister and her family lives in Otisfield and my husband had previously lived in Harrison on Long Lake. We looked at 52 properties (to be exact), before I happened to see an ad in the local newspaper about a cabin for sale on Saturday Pond. Saturday Pond was near and dear to my heart, as I had spent many summers on the lake since I was eleven years old. My parents worked at a boys’ summer camp called Great Oaks Camp (GOC). Incredulously, the old camp’s property abutted the property of the cabin we were interested in purchasing. It was a dream come true to be able to buy this cabin, re-connect with family and old friends associated with the camp and have my daughter and my nephew spend summers on the shores of Saturday Pond as I did. We treasure our crystal clear pond, the many friends we have made and all the memories we hold of wondrous times on the lake. We hope you will have a peaceful, tranquil stay - a return to nature among whispering pines and the call of the loons.
