White Stag Guesthouse features over 1400 square feet of living space with 2 spacious bedrooms, a sleeper sofa in the living area, 1 bath, full kitchen, breakfast area, dining area, living area, stained concrete floors, flat screen TV and WiFi. There is a Pack-and Play for infants. It sits high above Mason, just down from historic Fort Mason. It is half a mile walk down the hill to the historic town square where there are several restaurants. Mason offers wine tasting on the square as well. Enjoy the views and the peaceful surroundings.

The White Stag Guesthouse was absolutely perfect for my family of four. We wanted a weekend getaway in Mason, and that is exactly what we got. The guest house is full of all the amenities we needed to make breakfast and dinners, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy after a day of scenic Hill Country views. We would take morning and evening strolls to the Fort – which is just around the corner. The house was very clean and exactly as pictured. Jeannie and her husband David were very prompt and communication and very kind – they even gifted us a plant during our stay.

Beautiful gem in the hill country

Relaxing Getaway

Our second time staying at the White Stag (previously known as the Copper Rooster.) Very relaxing and peaceful and a special treat to see the deer all around outside. Pretty hilltop views and walkable to town to boot!

Weekend trip to K2 in Mason, Tx.

Property was perfect for our weekend trip with adult children. Property is located on the top of a hill overlooking Mason within walking distance of historic Ft. Mason. All needed supplies were readily available. The cottage was spotless and the amenities were abundant. Check-in was handled with the owner through text messages. We’ll definitely be back for any trips to K2 or just to come to the hill country. 4 to 6 deer greeted us each morning and evening just outside the front door. We truly love this place. The only way it could be better is if I owned the property.

Great view! Beautiful home & view!

My husband, 2 yr old & 4 yr old stayed. We have property/ a ranch in Mason! Packed a pack-n-play for my 2 year old. 4 yr old slept in the 2nd bedroom. Worked great for kids! The bedrooms are both roomy! The view over Mason is so pretty! House was great! Seen Deer in the evening out of almost every window! We had the chance to meet the owners of the property which was awesome! We cooked breakfast, watched TV in the evenings kiddos had pop corn and enjoyed the snacks left for them to enjoy, I thought that was a special touch!
