Our family of four, along with our puppy, stayed here over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful experience. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We spent our days hiking and exploring the sights of Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and our evenings relaxing in the hot tub and watching a movie before bed.Our boys absolutely loved the cabin and are already asking to return every year! The hosts were fantastic—providing detailed information about the cabin, great recommendations for places to visit, and suggestions for restaurants. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and more, and the view from the deck was just incredible.

Perfect small family cabin

We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin! It was the perfect size for our small family of 3! Extremely clean, had everything we needed, very cute and attention to detail! Our 12 year old son loved the kids loft and never wanted to come down! The owner was very kind, helpful and very responsive! We will definitely be back sometime!

Cabin was just what we needed, private and away from everyone and everything! It was nice to sit out on the porch with the fire pit and watch movies on the projection screen at night and sitting outside in the mornings in the rocking chairs and swings just watching nothing but the squirrels and chipmunks playing in the trees, it was calming and beautiful. Inside the cabin was cute and cozy, the Jacuzzi bathtub was very relaxing!! The hosts are very responsive whenever messaged. I would go back and stay again!

PERFECT

We enjoyed our stay so much! We have stayed in Townsend, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg several times and this has by far been our favorite cabin! Our children loved the loft and their beds. The hottub outside with the projector was a perfect touch. Everyone enjoyed their time and were sad to leave!

#149 was beautiful

My husband, son, and our dog stayed here. And made it a very special spot for us, as we got married! It was clean, full, and just like home! The climb up the mountain side is steep, but very do-able. On our last day, we drove further up and we will be staying with timberwinds again!

Pleasant and quiet stay!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and clean. Our kids age 6 and 9 loved the loft area with two separate beds and TV. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking. The pool was also an added bonus we enjoyed in the late afternoons. I just gave the location a 4 out 5 because of the steep roadway to get to the cabin. The host did mentioned it and best way to drive up. The cabin is on a mountain but just be prepared with your vehicle. Other than that, it was perfect!

Very nice cabin!

The only issue was the hot tub. It looked clean, but seemed to have a slimy residue. I don't know, this could just be from cleaning products, the water or something like that.

Townsend truly is the "Quiet Side of the Smokies." Get all the benefits of being close to the activity of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, without all the traffic and noise! And it's super close to the entrance to the National Park and river rafting and the airport. It really is the best spot around.

This cabin is such a great place for families. Let the parents relax in their private suite downstairs with jetted tub and let the kid's have their own bedroom and playroom upstairs in the loft with their very own "Cabin" beds!
