Gave us wrong access code to enter and REFUSED to give us refund
We are a non-profit organization and we had to raise funds to treat our survivors to a nice retreat. Because of traffic they weren't able to get to the VRBO house until late at night. The house has a digital access keypad, and an iPhone ring camera. We tried the access code they sent with initial arrival instructions. After several attempts to get into the house fails, we had to find other accommodations for the survivors. We reached out to VRBO and asked them to try to reach the owners, they advised us that the VRBO app had a different code than the code they sent me with emailed arrival instructions. VRBO asked me to send them screenshot of the code we got, we did. they said they would show it to property owners. We still have TWO different codes for the same reservation. It was there error and our retreat recipients were displaced, and not a good experience as they drove for hours for what was supposed to be a nice retreat for them. We weren't asking for the entire funds to be refunded, only for the one night that the key was not correct. The email and the VRBO app should've both had the same code # to get in. The fact that they weren't willing to refund for their error is not good business practice. Irregardless of the fact that this was a special occasion for special guests, it just made everything worse when they aren't willing to recognize thier error in system or in how management services.
