Downtown Vacaville 1 bedroom 1 bath Guest House

Very walkable 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 610 square foot Guest House in heart of downtown Vacaville, right on beautiful and historic Buck Avenue. Sleeps 2 very comfortably as there is a separate bedroom with a Queen Bed. Living Room has a 7' leather sofa however it does not pull out. TV has access to streaming services via WiFi. The Bath has a shower only, there is also a Full Kitchen (no dishwasher) and a stackable laundry unit in the Guest House. No smoking or Pets are allowed on the premises.

The Owners live on the property full time, in the main house, however you will have a private gated backyard with side entrance. There are (2) gates, one on the side of the main house, off Buck Avenue, and a second in the backyard for your use. This is a great space to use as a home base if you are in town to see family, go wine tasting in Napa, or for work, as it is very convenient to restaurants, bars, or just a nice walk around the neighborhood. This is not a good space if you want to entertain other guests, however, as we do live on the property.

Pool, built-in BBQ, and several outdoor seating areas are available to Guests. Spa and Pizza Oven are not made available to guests. We provide linens, towels, and the Bath and full Kitchen are both well stocked. Peloton tread and bike can be made available; (must bring own shoes for Peloton Bike) however an additional signed Waiver is required for the code to use them.

A couple things to note: The pool service man comes Wednesday mornings, and the gardener comes Fridays, usually in the late morning. Parking for guests is mainly in the driveway of the main house. There is also a side gate that leads to the detached Guest House. There are (2) cameras on the side of the house where this access is located, just to fully disclose that. We also have an English bulldog, who is a fully indoor dog with us. When we have guests, we only bring him out on a leash when he needs to go outside, although you are welcome to meet him if you like! He is very sweet.

Vacaville weekend

We can to watch our daughter in a triathlon. This was an excellent home base for our weekend. Very clean, walkable area to restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

Very cute guest house located near the pool. It is tastefully done. Ryan and Jared allow you private space but make themselves available for any questions or needs you may have.

Vacaville one bedroom treasure

This one bedroom was perfect for our week in Vacaville. Located in a Vacaville favorable, safe neighborhood that is walking distance to excellent downtown spots to eat and drink. Having a washer and drier was a huge plus. The hosts were friendly and prompt when we had questions. We would like to return in the summer so we can enjoy the pool/spa. All in all one of the better places we have stayed at. Lots of privacy but close by if anything was needed.

California Dream

This guest house in Vacaville was as close to perfect as you could imagine. The pool is right outside the door alongside lemon and apricot trees, comfortable seating areas and large outside table which was ideal for all our meals. There is also a well maintained gas grill easy to use. The guest house was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We felt like we were in our very own sanctuary. The neighborhood is historic and quiet - ideal for sidewalk strolling to admire the homes and easily access the historic downtown shops and cafes. We enjoyed all of this! Big bonus that Sonoma and Napa are only about 30 minutes away. Our hosts were great - respectful, friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable in this beautiful place.

Great home away from home

The property is extremely deceptive and beautiful. The guest house was an exceptional surprise! It has everything you could ask for. Bedroom, kitchen, living room and the bathroom was awesome! You're gonna love the heated toilet seat! Unfortunately, it was too cold to swim in the nice in ground pool. The host Ryan was very welcoming and accommodating. The space is very livable, quiet and peaceful. The only things I could think of adding would be the ability to warm the pool and a television in the bedroom. I'd definitely book this space again! Thanks Ryan!

Clean, well appointed comfortable living space. Comfortable accommodation for two people only. Quiet safe neighborhood. Restaurants, grocery stores and shops minutes away. Napa Valley is less than an hours drive from the casita. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend that you connect with Ryan if you are planning a stay in the area.

We really love that we can walk to lots of things! My old office, restaurants, bars, the post office, my bank, etc etc.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The main home that we live in was built in 1925. Our barn (with the red roof at the South part of the property) was built in the late 1800s as a carriage house the Buck Mansion, which is 5 doors down. The brick Buck Mansion sits on a 1.5 acre lot and our street is named for that family.
