Cottontown Retreat nestled in the heart of Columbia. Perfect for two couples traveling together, walking distance to restaurants, breweries, wine bars, coffee shops, Columbia fireflies baseball field, REI, and the bustling Main Street district in Columbia. Located 2 miles from the USC campus, we offer offstreet parking for two cars, but within walking distance of several restaurants and bars. Newly renovated, bungalow with 2 king-size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an office space with a single futon. Full kitchen with new appliances., exterior lighting and exterior security cameras.

We had an excellent stay at Claude's place! It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and the location was great. Was an easy drive to the USC campus.

Cozy retreat

We loved staying in this home. It was clean, uncluttered, and comfortable, with lovely touches like welcome muffins on the counter. My teen sons liked it too.

Cottonwood Retreat

We loved this property! It was clean and beautiful, and the host was very accommodating and thoughtful. I also appreciated how the outside of the property was very well lit at night with great security.

What a nice house in such a nice neighborhood. The house was super clean and very comfortable. We stayed the weekend in Columbia for USC parents weekend. The house was perfectly located to get to and from the university and a great place to relax when not running around for parents weekend activities. We also spent time exploring the Cotton Town neighborhood on foot and enjoyed some of the local restaurants within walking distance from the house. We will definitely stay here for our future visits to Columbia.

Game day stay

We stayed here for the weekend to attend a football game. Nicest Columbia Vrbo we’ve ever stayed in. Spacious and comfortable, with cute personal touches. Very thoughtful and welcoming to see fresh baked cookies, coffee, etc waiting for us when we arrived. This will be our go-to for our yearly visits from now on!

USC Visit

We had a wonderful stay at your house. It was clean, close to the downtown and USC, and just what we needed. Claude made some personal touches, like leaving creamer for coffee and muffins for us. Will definitely book another stay for the fall.

Exceeded our Expectations!

Cottonwood Retreat exceeded our expectations! Adorable house with every amenity needed for a football weekend. Both downtown for the Soda City Market and Five Points were easily accessible from our location. Claude went above and beyond with baked goods and coffee. We would definitely stay again!

A sweet neighborhood in close proximity of all USC grad activities. The house was well appointed with everything (and more) we needed. Claude was the perfect host! A wonderful experience on a memorable weekend.

Great location in a cozy neighborhood

My daughter and I were visiting for admitted student day at USC, and this house was conveniently located within 2.5 miles of campus and close to other areas we visited. I took several walks in the cute neighborhood, and there's a great coffee shop - Curiosity coffee - within 0.5 miles. The house was great - clean, well-stocked with toiletries, and comfortably furnished. Our host checked in multiple times beforehand to make sure we had what we needed. Great stay in a great spot!

Comfortable

We came from Lexington, Ky to watch the UK/USC football game with friends. Our daughter is a student at USC-the description of the house is so accurate. Location is great-quiet, safe street. Close to campus and the stadium as well as restaurants, etc.. the house was clean and comfortable and Claude made the whole process very easy! Will definitely stay again!

Great property, host, and location

The interior renovation on this house was done with style and quality. Very well appointed and equipped. Ample and comfortable seating everywhere and great beds. We have stayed in many VRBO properties since the mid-1990s; this is one of the best. Claude was very responsive to any question or request. On a 10 point scale, this one is a 10.

Updated home, perfect for 2 couples

Very comfortable and spacious home near campus. It was the perfect location for a gameday weekend while visiting our college kids. We enjoyed making dinner Friday night (kitchen was well equipped). We were even greeted with fresh homemade cookies from the owner Claude. 2 comfortable king size beds, updated bathrooms and very clean home. It was equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend!!! Thanks Claude!!!

The host was absolutely amazing. So easy to communicate with. We also picked the perfect time to visit Columbia. Cottonwood was a nice, historic community and all the dogwoods and azaleas were in bloom. Could not have been a more beautiful scenery. We walked for miles :)
