Modern Cottage on Stone Lake near access to Endless trails!

Modern and cozy cottage surrounded by Stone Lake. Enjoy breathtaking views of the lake from the front and back of the cottage. Enjoy fires on our outdoor patio area or a night inside the screened in gazebo. Stargazing galore on clear nights and the occasional appearance of the northern lights. We're located right next to access for some of the best snowmobile, ATV, or side-by-side trails in MN! We're also just a mile away from a great snowshoe trail through glacial eskers as well as many cross country trails. Enjoy a night at Hugo's bar just 3 miles away for dinner and drinks or to grab essentials. If traveling to town and exploring suits you, Two Harbors and Castle Danger brewery is a 30 minute drive. Duluth is 50 minutes away with endless attractions and adventures.

We had an amazing stay! Very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for cooking. Felt right at home as soon as we got inside. Love the roomy bathroom! It was 10 degrees at night and we stayed plenty warm inside.

5 out of 5 stars is not nearly a high enough rating for this cottage! If you want peace and quiet, surrounded by beautiful views this place is it! We were looking for a place to recharge, and we were not disappointed! The kitchen had pretty much everything you need to cook in, (aside from the food of course.) The garage full of games brought so much laughter out of my husband and I! The fire pit, gazebo, docks to walk out on in the front and back, all added more icing to the cake! This cottage was extremely clean, and the decor was perfect. Would be a great place to bring kiddos, too! Highly recommend! And so thankful to the owners for sharing their amazing getaway. Hopefully we can return someday!

It was a great stay with an amazing view and fun games! I think my only complaint is the bunk beds are in an actual closet and the trash can in the kitchen is very small. Other than that everything was great! And the hosts were spectacular about getting back to me! Would DEFINITELY stay here again

Great Get Away

We stayed on a marathon weekend. The property was clean, quiet, and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the wildlife in the area. The lakes are beautiful. The owners answered all of our questions and were quick and polite in doing so. Thanks for a great trip!

Ok, but needs outside work.

The outside looked like no one has mowed the lawn or anything to it this year. It's states that it's a 3 bedroom house but it's only a 2 bedroom house with a walk-in closet with bunk beds.

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay! Inside and out- everything was great! The gaming garage was such a big surprise! We enjoyed paddle boarding & kayaking around the lake and under the bridge! Would definitely love to come back here!

The cabin is between two lakes and is in a quiet setting. The third bedroom has bunk beds so is really a kid's room although we made it work. Easy access to the north shore. We had a nice time to celebrate a friend's birthday.

Amazing house!!

Everything was very simple booking/check in/out process. No issues whatsoever and an absolutely perfect place for a family or even a couple. Our little boy was beyond thrilled with the bunk beds and all the great books there (he loves reading). We enjoyed being able to walk right outside and view the water and fish. Very clean, has everything you need to get settled in. Wonderful host!!

Cozy house

It was a nice property. An animal knocked the garbage cans over at night and got into the garbage bags but other than that it was very peaceful. There is no air conditioning which wasn't an issue for us. The house has very nice updates and we were very comfortable there. One of the roads leading to rental from one direction was closed and maps sent us that route multiple times. We did report a lane closure in maps and we saw trucks heading that direction with rock presumably the morning of our departure.
