If you are looking for the quintessential Martha’s Vineyard beach house -look no further. This 5 bedroom+ house is located in Edgartown just steps from Morning Glory Farm. It is perfectly situated five minutes from South Beach and a little over a mile from downtown Edgartown. Access to the bike path allows for easy biking to either. Our home is situated on 2+ acres and abuts 70+ acres of undeveloped land- making it quiet and very private.

The breezy indoor/outdoor living evokes dreams of breezy summer days with an open concept indoor living space, flowing to an expansive deck where you can enjoy the serene mature plantings that abound on this totally private property.

This house is perfect for large families or mulit-family vacations. It sleeps 10 adults comfortably across 5 bedrooms and has an additional two living room spaces each having additional pull out queen sofa beds (sleeping another 4 people). The home has 4.5 baths with an outdoor shower.

Layout: The second floor has a large master bedroom with an en-suite bath as well as an additional bedroom with two twin beds and another half bath. The third floor has two queen bedrooms, another smaller living room and a full bathroom with shower. The ground “level" has full windows and sliding glass doors to the yard with a huge kids playroom, a large screen tv, and a separate office with a queen pull out with and another en-suite bathroom. The layout makes it great for two+ families or several couples to each have private sleeping space, private hang out/working space and an expansive shared space. There is a large outdoor dining option, gas grill and two outdoor couch areas for relaxing. Additionally the pool has many chaise lounges, umbrellas and couches for maximum relaxation. Please note, while we welcome multi family and group rentals this is a residential neighborhood with strict noise ordinance. We cannot host events, large gatherings or parties of any kind. Due to cool shoulder seasons on the island, the pool is open from Memorial Day to early Sept.

This was the perfect property for us, a jewel of a house that had all the amenities, including a great saltwater pool and convenient deck, but felt warm and comfortable like our own home. Towels and linens are in great supply. The laundry works great. Every space had its own private nook or private areas we all got to be together and yet have our own time too. The owners were responsive and prompt will definitely come again!

Great house for family stay

We had a terrific stay at Jackie’s house. Jackie is a very professional host and the house is perfect for a family (or two). Clean, modern, ideal location, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect MV home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week on Martha's Vineyard at this beautiful home! The house was very user-friendly and comfortable, with great outdoor living areas as well. The saltwater pool is fabulous! Location is terrific -- secluded and private, yet easily bike-able to Edgartown. Owners were very responsive and helpful.

Perfect MV Stay

This was one of the nicest places I've stayed at on Martha's Vineyard. There is plenty of room for extended family, and it is very child friendly with a playground and lots of toys and games, and extra room in the walk out basement. The large open dining area makes cooking and feeding a large group easy. The salt water pool is very refreshing - the kids loved it. The location is perfect with very easy access to Edgartown and South Beach, and if you bike, you're right on the bike trail. The hosts were very responsive - when I asked for more beach chairs, they dropped some off almost immediately. I would stay here again anytime!

Fun family get together

This home is very well located near, but not too close to Edgartown and was very comfortable. The home was exceptionally child friendly. The pool was particularly welcome in the warm afternoons and provided a pleasant place for the children to play and for the adults to relax and unwind. Near bike trails, farms, and beaches.This would provide a larger family a great opportunity to be together and yet have enough space for alone time as needed. The owners were accessible and accommodating. A great experience!

Wonderful family stay

We had a wonderful multi family stay with a variety of ages (infants, toddler, school age kids, parents and grandparents) and Jackie’s place met all our needs! Kitchen had most of the basics and lots of cookware (enough to bake an impromptu birthday cake on a rainy afternoon and nightly family dinners), rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor space (where we spent most of our time) was beautiful and well kept. We used the grill regularly, and loved the outdoor shower. Kids loved the outdoor playground set, and the pool was absolutely amazing. The pool was fully fenced in and locked which was really important to our family of young kids. There were toys downstairs that the young kids used, and upstairs a fun “stage area” where they put on lots of fun performances. Location was superb - so close to beaches, Edgartown, and right on the bike path. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! Communication was great with host, many (…many) questions were answered before and during our stay with prompt response time.

Fell through the deck

I rented this home recently for my sisters bachelorette party and while the house generally met our needs, I unfortunately had a very serious experience that others should be aware of. While stepping onto the deck, a section gave way beneath me, and I fell through — resulting in a painful leg injury. The deck was clearly unsafe and not properly maintained. This was due to rotted wood, that the owners are aware of because I was told “the handyman was supposed to fix that.”What made this worse was the homeowners’ response. Despite reporting the incident immediately, their communication was very dismissive, and they did not offer any meaningful support for what was a clearly hazardous situation on their property. I was essentially told “they try to maintain the property to the highest standard and would like to clarify the reservation was made for 10 adults and there was only one injury reported during the stay.” Well I think ONE injury is enough!This could have been much worse, especially if a child or older guest had been involved. I’m sharing this so future renters are aware and the issue is hopefully addressed to prevent anyone else from getting hurt.

Upon receiving your report, we responded promptly and were at the property within an hour to assess the situation. At no point were your concerns dismissed. We understand your frustration at sustaining a bruise during your stay and that you’re disappointed that neither we nor VRBO were able to provide a full refund for your entire group. However, based on the circumstances, we believe our response was both timely and appropriate. We take great pride in maintaining the property, as reflected in our many positive reviews from past guests both before and after your stay.
