Vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed in Garden City Realty. Never texted us to let us know that our room was ready. We had to go to the realty office at 5:50 pm to ask if our rental was ready. They forgot to text us, they were busy. (Really?) It's all paid for and that is how you treat a customer? The condo we stayed in was not fully vacuumed, crumbs on the floor found in 2nd bedroom. Bathrooms showers, really outdated. The beach front balcony carpet was torn up and filthy. Great vacation otherwise!

Our Beach House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this property and try to stay here whenever we can. Coming to the same place year after year makes it feel like our second home. The location is great the building and condo are amazing. This year the box spring I. The master was broken. Not a lot to be done but not super comfortable. However, I know that Garden City Rentals will fix it quickly and it won’t be an issue next year. They are kind and responsive

Great view, Great place, Great time!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This our first time at Beach House 217 and we loved it! The ocean view is fantastic and we especially liked the outdoor furniture that allowed us to see the ocean easily. We also loved the entryway bench for jackets and things as well as the table and couch. Everything in very good shape and clean. This place has been well kept and the bathrooms had nice features and cabinetry. We love the location because it’s close to many places and activities. I would highly recommend this unit.

We will come back some day.

Best ocean view

Perfect location. Condo needs updating. A few things falling apart. Rusty shower doors. Screen door handle kept falling off. Maintenance entered condo without notifying us. No note stating he was in there. Other than that it is a nice place to stay on the beach away from the MB crowds.

Would not recommend for young children. My toddler was black with filth and sand within 20 minutes of us arriving from crawling on the floor. Also the tile in both of the bathrooms is in terrible shape that my toddler also easily discovered. The molding by the sliding glass door was loose and able to be moved. The flooring of the porch was ripped and in terrible shape as well. We had to put down our own mat/ blankets for my toddler to have a clean space outside. The front bedroom has no curtains so impossible to sleep past 6 am/ or sunrise. Also all of the glass is streaked with moisture/cloudiness so the view is not the crystal clear view in the pictures. Pack n play could not fit in either bedroom comfortably. The place is really small, probably the smallest place we have ever stayed oceanfront for this price. So be cautious if you are looking for space. The bath tubs/ shower were very outdated and had a lot of black grime around the doors. The first morning we were looking for a frying pan to cook and there was a frying pan with caked on eggs just chilling in the cabinet. If your party is just adults is probably fine but not for us. The price of nearly 3,000 for seven days did not match our expectations and we come to GC every year for decades.

Location, Location, Location !

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented entire month of Feb. Trip delayed 3 days due to "worst snow storm in area in decade." Apt smaller than expected, about the size of a lg size camper trailer. Apt clean and neat. Apt dated but appliances newer. Only cold water for wash machine. If elderly or slightly handicapped, highly recommend you look for a place with an elevator. We purchased cockroach traps after spotting a few in the apt. Realty would have sprayed if we had asked. Grandson & parents visited for weekend. They were not allowed to park at apt although 15+ spaces were open in lot the entire weekend! Great location, not as busy as Myrtle Beach. Great restaurants and shopping nearby. Would recommend that you check with your own insurance company before purchasing the useless travel insurance offered by the Realty.

Inconvenience

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in/out process is great. On arrival, Precision Towing was blocking the parking area and stalking like a something creepy. Unable to get a parking space near the stairs, I began to unload. After getting the parking pass from the condo, I placed it in position and finished my trips up for the week. Garden City Realty called and stated that we did not have the correct color parking pass and Precision would tow our car if we did not come immediately to them for another...which they did not have. I was given a pass for a property that was 4 buildings north plus a public access. So my wife and I had to walk across multiple properties every time we went somewhere. Terrible inconvenience. Our condo was old, but clean and comfortable. It was convenient to the beach and has a very nice deck and pool area. Was not happy with Garden City's handling of this situation

Would return

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely view of the ocean directly off the balcony and the living room. There is a wonderful pool and decking available to sit and soak up the sun if you did not want the beach. Has hoses to rinse off your feet and beach equipment upon return to your space. Had all the kitchen equipment you would need for cooking but no spices or condiments. The bathroom in the hall was older but still did the job. Had an issue with the screen patio door upon arrival and called the realty company and maintenance personnel came with an hour or two and fixed it. Was very professional and courteous. There were towels for each person and bedding for sleeper couch. There are numerous restaurants just down the road along with grocery stores and gas stations. The realty company provided an entertainment booklet for things to do and see in the area. Went to Stella’s on business 17 for ice cream and to the pizza and Mexican place just down the condo road and to Little River Cafe at the same area. Do not have to go out to business 17 to enjoy these restaurants. Oh, and had a closet with beach equipment. Would check with the company to see what all they have. We used our own. Would return again.

Home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented from Garden City previously and always had a good experience. I loved staying at Beach House. The kids loved the pool and the beach access is amazing. The parking lot is tight and the HOA residents call for towing a couple times a day so make sure you have your pass up or you will get towed. We watched people everyday get towed away. We will absolutely be renting again.
