Modern Cabin of Stone Mountain

This modern cabin-like home has been fully renovated for 2023. Enjoy deer watching from the comforts of the hot tub, large fire pit area, or Master bedroom views. Lack of city lights allows for awesome Stargazing. Enjoy the private swimming pool. Climb Stone Mountain, which is only 10 mins down the road. Many nature trails and biking paths in the surrounding neighborhood. Downtown Atlanta is close enough to dip in and dip back out into tranquility and peace. This is an absolutely RARE find!!

For 2026, the swimming pool will officially open for swimming on April 17th. The pool will be closed approx. September 30th.

However, the HOT TUB is open all year long !!!

Check-in was easy! The kitchen was a great size, with plenty of counter space, and we loved the breakfast nook. Our favorite part of the kitchen was the stove.

Perfect getaway for our family

My husband and I and our four kids had a wonderful time at the home. I loved how clean every single room was especially the bathrooms. We had a lot of fun in the hot tub which was refilled just for us normally I’m grossed out by hot tubs, but this one felt brand new. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed. We had a ton of fun playing games and enjoying all the different areas to sit and relax. Loved all of the plants and landscaping.

The host was great, very responsive and kind, great communication. The house was as expected. It isn’t a cabin though, it’s near a cul-de-sac in a development. The backyard is up to woods, and the fence provides privacy. Having traveled with kids, I appreciated all the night lights and the lock gate for the pool. The toilet in the hall bathroom is extremely tall, kids will need help or a step stool. I’m 5’10” and my feet wouldn’t touch flat to the ground. It’s tall! And the master bathroom doesn’t have a door, we found that a bit odd and inconvenient in many ways. No pool toys, but we brought our own. The pool was exactly what we wanted. The deep end was great for our olders, and the shallower part is about 4’ deep and great for lounging. Ample amount of towels were provided. The couches and furniture were all comfortable. King bed was a little on the hard side. The rooms do not have dressers, so you will live out of your suitcase during your stay. Overall, we would recommend you this house and would stay again!!

Family Trip

Property was very clean. Backyard was peaceful. Kitchen has smart appliances and was stocked with most necessities. Master bathroom was very nice. The only downside was that the owner of the property was there when we arrived ( we were 30 minutes early) and stayed past the 4 o’clock check in time to finish cleaning and then move personal items out of the basement. The basement was not included in the listing and was not accessible to the guests. He also returned during our stay to retrieve more personal items. I found this odd. Also, the mattresses were not at all comfortable.

Property was clean and welcoming. We liked the pool and other amenities. Communication was clear and he responded to questions quickly. He also cleaned the pool the morning after we arrived as there had been a storm the day before. He gave a heads up that he would be out cleaning it the next morning and it was appreciated that it was freshly cleaned for our use. The code for the front door lock quit working over the weekend and it was attended to and back to working promptly. Host was very attentive. We enjoyed our girls weekend very much at this property.

This home is in a quiet neighborhood, which felt very safe. The host communicated very well. The home was very clean, plenty of towels. Kitchen is well stocked to cook. The back yard and pool area are beautiful .The ice maker did not work, which when I mentioned it, the host was aware. I felt that should of been something mentioned as it's summer. We would of bought ice when we were at the store the first time. The master bedroom above head light did not work, nor was there a ceiling fan like the other bed rooms. We also bought a small fan for that room. The only curtains in the master bedroom are from the screened in porch, so if you don't close all of those then there will be sunlight bright and early. With no bathroom door in the master bathroom and bedroom it gets humid in the whole bedroom after a shower. Personally, I prefer doors on bathrooms for privacy alone. The living room lighting was also a bit dim. Pillows are a bit flat for my families liking but your not at your own house. The water is so hot, it needs a warning if you have small kids!I loved this house, I loved the views and I loved the communication and I would 1000 percent would book here again. I feel as though they are still upgrading and making improvements. If your looking for safe, quiet and peaceful this is your place!
