Welcome to Island View Lake House - A cabin in Traverse City, Michigan! Nestled in the heart of nature, our cozy retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and relaxation.

With direct access to Island lake, you can savor the beauty of Northern Michigan waters right from your doorstep. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, water sports lover, or simply seeking a tranquil getaway, our cabin has something for everyone.

The Space:
The centerpiece of our home is the open and cozy living area, complete with an electric fireplace that provides both warmth and ambiance. It's the perfect spot to unwind and chat after a day of adventure.

For those who love games and entertainment, our bar/game room is a real treat. Enjoy a round of pool and ping pong while watching the game on the 75" big screen tv. It's the ideal space for making memories with friends and family.

Step outside to our private hot tub, where you can soak under the starlit sky, taking in the serene beauty of the surroundings. Whether you're seeking relaxation or a fun-filled gathering, this space has it all.

The property's peaceful setting is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It's a tranquil oasis, surrounded by natural beauty, where you can unwind and rejuvenate. But it is not far from many activities. Boyne mountain is just 60 mins North and Crystal mountain is just 60 mins West. Enjoy skiing/snowboarding at some of Michigan most renowned mountains when you stay at our home. Downtown Traverse City is just 25 mins, enjoy shopping and sightseeing just around the corner.

With ample space and comfortable accommodations, our Traverse City house is the ideal choice for a group of up to 14 people. Experience the best of relaxation and entertainment in this welcoming retreat.

Please note :
The house is cooled by two mini split units in the main areas. Two of the bedrooms do not have direct access to these areas, but do have ceiling fans that help keep them cool during the warm summer months.

Beautiful lake house!

Such a great house in a beautiful setting! Access to the pontoon boat and other watercraft was such a bonus - we had hours of fun on the lake!What a nice touch to have gas for the boat and wood for the fire provided. The drive into traverse city for a day trip was easy, but had plenty of fun just hanging at the lake house!

Beautiful home

We came up for a staff retreat and full enjoyed our time. The home was spacious, clean and a beautiful piece of property. We only wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the lake more. Highly recommend this home

Spring Break Reboot

This was a beautiful property and great place to get away for spring break. It was still pretty cold mid-April so we didn't get to enjoy the boats and lake activities, but still enjoyed sitting by the fire and taking in the views. The hot tub was a great way to warm up too. The kids really enjoyed the game room and the house had everything we needed.

Book club

The perfect house for our book club girls trip! Plenty of beds and bathrooms for 8 women with no one in bunk beds! 😀 property managers were super responsive and helped us through anything we needed.

Family Reunion Getaway

We enjoyed our stay so much! We did our family reunion here and the property and surrounding area entertained everyone (1- 80 years old)! If the property had it we used it. Everything was clean and in working order. The beds were comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and fully stocked. Our recommendation for other groups staying here is to bring eye masks because there are no curtains anywhere and that morning sun is bright. But the view is beautiful and relaxing! The master bath has a door to the outside that also has no blinds so we used back garbage bags for privacy. All in all we loved everything and would definitely stay here again if we visit Traverse City in the future!
