Watch a beautiful Appalachian sunset from the sunporch or enjoy a fall breeze on the screened porch. This newly remodeled, spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment will wow you! From the original hardwood floors, to the modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, every inch of this space is unique. The central location allows for day trips to many sites, such as Bickle's Knob, Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, Smoke Hole Caverns or the Monongahela National Forest. Take in a show at the Gandy Dancer, ride the train to the High Falls of Cheat, or visit a Civil War battlefield. We had a wonderful time in Elkins. The apartment was very comfortable and large and there was room for all of us to enjoy being together as a family without having to be right on top of each other. Would stay here again!

Roomy and attractive. Loved staying here for our "girls" reunion. Convenient to walk downtown and to the campus.

Excellent place to stay in the heart of Randolph County

The apartment was immaculate with every necessity readily available. The location is right downtown, within walking distance of bars and restaurants. It is centrally located between the two major ski resorts making it a gem to be able to stay in town and also have fairly quick access to both resorts. Would recommend to anyone I know, will definitely stay again!

Great Property!

I stayed here with family for a local wedding. My cousin popped by and exclaimed that she didn’t think there was a rental this nice in Elkins! Property was very large, clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen was great, with spices, cooking implements, glass storage dishes., and a coffee/tea station.

Cozy Retreat

Everything was as described and Tammy was very easy to communicate with. We received nearly a foot of snow during our stay and Tammy arranged for someone to come plow the back lot. Much appreciated!

Elkins Trip

The house was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to restaurants, the park, the college, etc. There were plenty of bedrooms for our small family and the home was neat and cleanly. Communication with the host was exceptional for the little things that did come up. Would stay again or recommend to a friend.

Enjoyed our stay

The accommodations were adequate for our 2 night stay. The apartment was spacious and had enough sleeping space for 5 adults and 2 children, with each child sleeping with a couple adults. The beds were not too comfortable, though. The owner was very responsive to take care of a problem with the tub. She also communicated great before we arrived. I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting the Elkins area. The sunroom and screen porch would be great in warmer weather.

Ski trip

Took my daughter and granddaughter up after Christmas for a short ski trip. They did Snowshoe one day and Canaan the next day. Both were relatively short drives. But the condo was absolutely spotless and roomy. There were only 5 of us so everyone could have a bed. I would highly recommend anyone that wanted to ski and not have to pay 2 arms and a leg they charge at the resorts to rent this. And look at the book...the Mexican restaurant was the best and Margarita tower fabulous. We also ate at Italian and liked it very much. You wont regret renting this site.

Pros and Cons

Apartment was very comfortable, but bathrooms have no bars for shower/tub and bases are slippery. Staircase up from parking area was doable but railings were very rough and one could easily get splinters. Access through the front door is much better but there's no quick or short way to get there from the parking lot. More information is needed about where to park for incoming guests. Very explicit information was available inside the unit but that doesn't help arriving guests who haven't yet entered the unit. Information packet is very limited. I would recommend adding a local map (available from the visitor's center!). Great dining options are available within very short walking distance, as is a CVS and a library. We enjoyed the venezuelan restaurant 2 houses from the rental! Visit the train station for wonderful local information and assistance in planning your visit in Elkins.
