The house was adequate for my stay, but there were several issues that impacted the overall experience.Upon arrival, the lockbox had been changed from the keypad version described in the instructions to an electronic model, requiring me to contact the host for assistance getting into the house. Fortunately, the host was responsive and able to remotely open the garage.There were also several maintenance and convenience issues. The kitchen had no bowls, so I had to purchase some myself. The microwave stopped working and had to be replaced during my stay. Towels and washcloths were available but stored in a location that was not obvious to find.The motion-sensor lighting was also frustrating. The half bath across from the master bedroom would frequently turn on and off, illuminating the bedroom throughout the night. I ended up keeping the bathroom door closed to avoid being awakened.The biggest concern was the air conditioning. Even with the thermostat set much lower, the house was often around 83F when I returned each day, making it uncomfortable after being outside in the Texas heat.I appreciate that the host responded quickly when issues were reported, but several preventable problems kept this from being a better overall experience.
