Great little getaway. Spacious for my family and us to get away for the night together. Tucked away from eveything but close enough to get things if needed. Host was nice and responsive, if we are in the area next year I’d be happy to come back!

Needed a place to stay close to a relative and Placid Farm was perfect! Quiet and serene! I enjoyed evening walks around the property. Bed was very comfortable. Nice touches with the amenities. Host Jackie was wonderful to work with and was flexible when my schedule changed. Check in and checkout were super easy. Highly recommend!

Jackie quickly answered our questions and was welcoming. We particularly liked the quiet off-the-beaten path location and the ability to cook our own meals in the kitchen. We will plan on staying here again when in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Placid Acres. It served our needs perfectly. Jackie was an excellent host, pleasant and very accommodating. The fresh farm eggs was a nice and delicious bonus.

This was my second time staying at Placid Acres. It's a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The apartment has a homey, cozy feeling to it. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. There is a Keurig and the owners provide complimentary coffee and tea (you will need to bring your own creamer and sweetener if desired). There are plenty of bath towels and they provide soap/shampoo/conditioner. Placid Acres is a great place to stay while in the Bennettsville area!

Placid Acres is a quiet and cozy place to stay when in the Bennettsville, SC area. So much better than staying in a local motel. The owners provide complimentary coffee and tea. The shower has a soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser. There are plenty of towels. There is kitchenware and cleaning supplies if needed. I slept on the air bed in the living room and it was comfortable for me. I would definitely stay at Placid Acres VRBO again!

Private Country Stay

My wife and I were traveling through and stayed for just one night. The property had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the kitchen area so we could prepare food for ourselves. Super quiet and private stay. Highly recommend!

It really is a peaceful place to stay. The bed was super comfy. The host was very sweet when we talked on the phone. Check-in couldn’t have been easier.

Quaint and quiet retreat

We had a lovely time staying here. Came in for the race weekend. Not a bad drive distance from the track or Bennettsville. You are in a beautiful country setting. Great place for a couple. All the needed amenities for a short vacation. Well done.
