Wonderful stay in Berlin

We had a great time during our stay in Berlin. Max the host met us in front of the unit when we arrived. Communication from the hosts was great leading up to and during arrival and during the stay. I was surprised it is on such a busy street across from the train station since it did not appear that way on the listing. However he walked us into the interior of a courtyard away from the street which felt safe and the apartment building is always locked. Max was very hospitable and sweet with recommendations, and even left some wine and chocolates for us! The place was very clean and in fact they don’t allow shoes on in the house. The place was spacious for the 4 of us (myself and husband and 2 18 year olds). Location is awesome, we felt like locals with no hotels nearby and lots of great restaurants (heckscher market is awesome- very lively and lots of people especially during euros games) and museum island very close, in walking distance. The only negative was that the photos in the listing of the 2 bathrooms and kitchen are no way close to the actual rooms, not remodeled or modern as shown in the listing. It’s like they are photos of a totally different place? Kitchen table only seats 2.However this did not negatively impact our stay as we loved berlin and all that it has to offer, and we overlooked it so to not ruin our time. I just would have wanted to see photos of those rooms before booking it. That being said I’m still glad that we stayed there.

Fabulous location and spacious apartment; the living room/bedroom is private with its own door. The a/c is only for one room; the other two bedrooms have just a standard fan, and no cooling in kitchen or bathrooms. Great amenities provided (tea, coffee, shampoos, toothpaste, chocolate!, etc). Good communication and friendly hosts. Max kindly shipped back a forgotten item for me!!
