Garden Cottage Getaway on the Pend Oreille River! Pet-Friendly! Water Access!!

Private Pend Oreille River getaway on a 3 acre piece of property with over 200 feet of water frontage. Wildlife galore is a sight to behold! Cozy home with old world charm and the accents of Pottery Barn! Enjoy the spacious deck with a full river view! Exploring the local trails for hiking, kayaking the river in the summer and skiing the nearby mountains (49 degrees or Schweitzer) in the winter! We welcome dogs but we must know that they are coming and the pet fee must be paid.

You will love the view of the river from the deck and the huge, beautiful garden, pergola and firepit! Serene beauty and peaceful surroundings await! You will often see the many squirrels playing around and the eagle couple flying around and playing! 4 Kayaks are always available for enjoying the river! In the winter, the snow covered mountains and path to the river are so beautiful from the huge living room windows. And the cozy fireplace is so fun!

If you need the loft with 3 twin beds, it is accessed by a ladder on the wall. Kids & teens really enjoy that space with the cozy area and beanbags. Many adults have slept there too, but it's not for everyone. :) The small spiral staircase in the living room leads down to the bedroom suite, but that bedroom can also be accessed outside by an exterior door that faces the river. This is important to note if there are issues with climbing stairs.

There is laundry availability right near the kitchen and we have a highchair and paknplay for anyone to use. We also have a window air conditioning unit for the summer months, which is helpful because the house, especially the loft can get hot. Opening the windows at night really helps.
