Cute place near the university where we went to visit our Granddaughter. Easy access to downtown. Two thumbs up!

Our stay was okay, but there were several aspects that didn’t meet our expectations. This is a duplex, & the stairs leading to the apartment are shared. Every time we came/went, we had to pass directly in front of the other unit’s screen door, which was usually open. This made the entrance feel awkward & lacking in privacy.The bed in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable—old, creaky, overly springy, & noticeably slanted, with the head lower than the feet. It was so bad that we opted to sleep on the couch the final night. Speaking of which, the couch does not have a traditional pull-out bed—it’s a folding couch, which isn’t very supportive or comfortable for sleeping.There were no blinds on any of the windows, which made us uncomfortable, especially at night. The living room has thin, sheer curtains that offer no real privacy in the evening. The bedroom does have blackout curtains, but again, no blinds. The bathroom is extremely small & feels & looks more like a basic motel bathroom. We also felt uneasy about a door that leads to the basement. It had no way to be locked from our side, which raised some safety concerns for us.Lastly, the location was not what we expected. We’ve stayed in the Downtown Delaware area before & were excited when this listing said it was about a mile away. In reality, it’s much closer to Highway 42 than to the charming downtown area with shops & restaurants. Walking to downtown isn’t practical, especially with children.

The duplex next door was a graveyard for abandoned trucks, trailer, junk, 5-6 mowers. Looked like a junkyard. No working outside light and stained carpets. Front step was way too high and hand rail was inadequate. Very disappointed. Clean kitchen and bathroom and bedroom.

My husband and I stayed two nights to watch The Little Brown Jug in Delaware. A perfect location and a wonderful place. Everything you would need for your stay. Very nicely decorated.

Great getaway

This location was super easy to get to and setup so nice, it was the perfect place for our mother daughter trip. Everything we could’ve needed was there for us and was very clean. Definitely recommend staying here, the property manager was super helpful in all communication.

The property is very cute, but needs a good "dusting"!

We have 2 small dogs, so staying here (with dogs allowed, free) and staying in a hotel (with a required non-refundable deposit) makes it about the same price. We were in town for our grand daughter's OWU dance performance. The house was great! Cute! Very convenient to the school. We may be back!

Peaceful stay

The host was very easy to contact and she responded quickly when I had a question. The place is clean and has everything you need for your stay. You are close to the stores, pharmacies and restaurants if there is anything extra you need.
